    for glass door - use old metal halide/ street lamp / industrial light lenses. Also some new LED outdoor lamps have tempered glass lenses

    Hey man use som cuttingliquid better for the sawchain and its collect irondust as well so ypu minumum your risk to get rust in you eyes hehe the day after and it cuts a lot smother with it ,. Just a tipp from a hobby blacksmeth from the forest in sweden, Who is gonna take on my own first fire kamin /stove built tomorrow 😁 so here looking for inspiration ant tips,

    i used a pyrex glass pan bottom for the door from a thrift shop.

    Lovely video mate. Did you ever sort out some glass for it? I built a little log burner around this sort of time last year as well but not quite as neat as this. - You can get heat proof glass on eBay uk. The seller I got my bit from had all sorts of random sizes so there'd easily be a bit the right size.

    treat yourself to a gas lense chief. clean the steel with acetone before tigging itll be perfect tig welds after that.
    also I use a oven pyrex dish lid for my log burner, good for 300'c 😉

      Yeah, I actually got a gas lens shortly after this project! Sure does make a big difference 😊

      @@AndreTKemp there some cheap kits on ebay that do a selection of lenses for under 30 quid. not sure of your background but if you keep that steel seriously clean your welds will be perfect. what machine you got?

      In my final year of my level 3 apprenticeship, my dude! Running a little esab buddy TIG. Just in my garage making these videos as a hobby outside of work. How about yourself? Where are you from, brother? 😊

      @@AndreTKemp Nottinghamshire way, originally coded for structural steel but making my own stuff now. I wasn't picking faults just giving tips. my mates just got a new tig and its a hard thing to grasp straight off. keep the videos coming. I binge watched them all last night
