if someone wanted to buy just the caster from you without the wheels, any idea what you'd ask?
@@SloshJomba698 I haven't got a clue what I'd price them at. Some of the ideas in the comments here would give a superior design, so I'd implement those and work on an improved version first! I hope you enjoyed the video ☺️🤙
@DreTarot tbh, I put a lawn chair on a one wheel, and trying to set something up to have wheels on my feet, feel like something like this would be a solid idea. maybe with a longboard wheel
Ridiculously complex requiring an extensive range of tools for the basic D.I.Y.er.
@@johnd942 but cool, right? 😂
5:03 music 😂😂😂😂
Well this isn't really "stopping” the noisy neighbours is it. It's more like capitulating and learning to live with their antisocial behaviour...
for glass door - use old metal halide/ street lamp / industrial light lenses. Also some new LED outdoor lamps have tempered glass lenses

@@andrewpettitt8802 building my workshop atm, my dude!
Not bad. Two improvements would be - face the room side with 2 layers of 15 mm soundbloc plasterboard. Secondly, fix the independent framework to the floor and ceiling to avoid noise transitioning through your wall fixings and stop even more sound transmission 👌
That's great advice! Thank you 😁
Next time use blueboard instead of standard plasterboard. it's more expensive but works good
Thanks for the advice 😁
That came out awesome 👍
I'm pleased you like it, my friend! Thanks for checking out the video 🙂
Hey Andre, nice to see another video on RUclips! Hope you are doing well, loving the goth decor vibes, and good luck with the all the projects 🙂
Hi, mate! Long time no speak. Yeah, I'm pleased to be getting back into it as I've missed making them a lot. I hope you're well, too! Thanks for the comment and support 🙂
@@DreDurezza yeah it's been ages, I have dropped Facebook pretty much but still here making stuff in the hills out of metal 😁
@@Swarfgoblin I'm glad to hear that you're still at it, dude! I'm still working as a welder 👨🏭
I hope you’re going to fireproof the stud wall where the fire is going to be? If not it won’t pass certain regulations
@ronanmckay7071 the fireplace isn't in use and has been blocked off
Does this guy like men?
Did it work?? That is the question...
@Patent247 it doesn't block out all noise, as you'd need to do a lot more than just this. However, it did make a big difference and a noticeable improvement, so I would recommend it 👌
But that stuff is expensive as fuuu
@un-_-known688 The small amount on either side of the chimney breast wasn't too expensive and did make a big difference
Very smart Andre !
I'm pleased you like it, my man!
You could also put a Dutch oven on it to bake with.
Everyone likes a little color!!!!😂😅😂😅
haha, hope you enjoy the project 😁
@@DreDurezza sure did little brother!
Have you heard of Colin Furze? I don't know where in the UK he is, but I think he'd get along with you, he's a got a RUclips channel with some really interesting videos of welding, inventing, and digging tunnels under his house. Cheers from NY in America 🙂
Hey, mate! I have indeed. I appreciate that you have enjoyed the video. I'll bring you some more content soon 😁
Hey man use som cuttingliquid better for the sawchain and its collect irondust as well so ypu minumum your risk to get rust in you eyes hehe the day after and it cuts a lot smother with it ,. Cheers, my man! Good luck with the build 😀
Youve created a masterpiece in my eyes. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I'm pleased you like it ☺
"Because I want to learn and I want to know more". Still drives me today, that. You seem an exceptional engineer. A pleasure to see you work. Never lose that hunger for knowledge. It'll always take you somewhere cool.
Thank you, mate! I'll bring you some more content soon 😁
Nice job on the wood stove now you need to make yourself a belt sander it would have been very handy on your stove build and save time and work plus better looking than a grinder or file good work
Thanks for the feedback, my guy! Yeah, a belt sander/linisher would be useful! I'll sort that soon 😁 Glad you like the stove 🤘
New sub here, was from Grantham now living in Cork.. Im guess from the accent and the word duck you too are from the east Midlands
Correct! 😁 thank you for subscribing 🤘
Looks like you did a nice job. The only thing I would have done differently would be to have the handle Latch the other directions, so the way to the handle keeps it closed.
I'm pleased you like it, my dude!
so where does the air enter the stove? I see no air inlet vent...using the ash door is just going to make it messy, allow ash to blow out and allow hot embers to burn your van down.
I'll be making another one in the future for my new workshop, so be sure to subscribe so you don't miss the updated version. I'll be sure to follow your advice and add an air intake on the next one. Although I must say, this one does work rather well as it is. Cheers for the feedback and hopefully you will like my future content🤙
Just looking from a distance I love the thickness of your steel used for the box.
Thanks! It's only small, so I could get away with using thinner steel 😄
@@DreDurezza Yeah, but it's better than what I've seem around
Great build, it looks awesome! I was hoping you would choose that leg orientation, its a nice touch.
Thank you, my dude! I'm pleased you enjoyed it 😁
Bit late to the party here mate but that looks the absolute bollocks...well done fella
Thank you for the kind words, mate! I appreciate it a lot. Better late than never, right? 😊 I'll hopefully have my new workshop built soon so I can bring you some more videos to watch
@AndreTKemp no worries bro, looking forward to it, you should have done some videos on the workshop build that would have been cool
@@adeh503 I am 😊 it's just taking a while 😅😅😅
Have you thought of using thrust bearings instead? Those bearings were not meant for lateral loads.
In the evening, continuous light is required for live viewing of the image. Otherwise people don't see each other to strike a pose because it's dark in the wedding hall
That's a great point! I have only set this one up in lobbies or outside and dark rooms or dance areas, but yes, a continuous light would solve this issue if you're running it in the dark. Thanks for the feedback :)
the burn box will buckle!
Are you still alive ?
Hey! Yeah, I'm still alive 😅 I moved house, so I've been without a workshop for a while. I've just got planning permission to build one, though! A video on that will be with you soon 😊 then regular uploads from then on! 😉
@@DreDurezza that's awesome and good to know mate , can't wait till you start uploading again 👍
@@R.I.P it really means a lot to hear that! Thank you 😊
This is the best Video ever 👍
The blue cable send 12v 1a power
You don't need a powered antenna
Great job on that.
Pleased you enjoyed it 😀
thanks for the nice video.. give me a perfect inspiration for my next work..
Pleased to have helped, my dude! :)
Are you able to provide specs for this? I’m trying to find a machine shop to make one for me since I don’t have the tools to do so.
Hi! Unfortunately not, I'm afraid. I made these quite a while ago, so the only specifications I could offer will be in the video. I guess just re-watch and take notes 😅 Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!
Brilliant
Drills are just lathes

I liked the result 😊
The fit and finish is excellent!
Pleased you like it! 😁
AWESOME IDEA MAN! I LOVE IT. You have inspired me to make my own 6" offroad swivel casters to push a massive 600+ pound professional COATS tire changer across the frozen grass into my backyard. Hahaha
Nice! I hope it works out 😁😁😁
Extend the antenna to outside the garage by connecting a 1 sq mm copper wire. And see the difference. Thank you
Check out part 2
Awesome 👍
You have an amazing skill set i just love what you did here and i learned so much thank you.
Mate, thank you for saying this! I'm really pleased you've enjoyed it 😊
That was indeed unbelievable attention to detail. The little wood burner looks absolutely stunning. A credit to you!
Thank you, Trevor! I'll hopefully revisit this project and make an updated version one day 😊 glad you enjoyed it
can you write out what the white shell is so I can research where to buy..I'm in the states and know I can build this but without that white shell it would look bad
Hey, the stuff I covered it with is just opal white perspex. Unsure what you call this in the US... maybe plexiglass? I lined the edges with T-moulding. Hope this helps 🙂
Looks banging I have a mate needing one of these for his campervan he's living in
Glad you like it, mate!
