A couple years late to this convo, but the Primordial made me raise an eyebrow, BUT THE CENTIPEDE?!?! I went crazy seeing that thing in HD. This music really made those two fights so hype 💯
While Ys IX is something of an unusual Ys game in terms of plot and presentation, the music is no less intense than other titles, which gives it that familiar feel all over again. This track is a solid example.

This boss theme got more epic when I met Primordial boss in the prison. That was so epic. That was literally Ys VIII vibes.
Seriously, seeing Avalodragil again made me do a doubletake and say "What!?"

Playing this game on nightmare difficulty while hearing this song gives very different feeling. Love this game so much.
