Bit of a 'Spoons fan myself.Not sure if our Swindon branch had a special new year offer or something but we recently had two standard ham egg and chips,a pint and a coffee for £11.09..and what's more the eggs were perfectly cooked - great value. Enjoyed the video boys, great fun.

I remember as a kid playing on the amusements in the 'Lucky star' years before it became the Velvet coaster....we stayed in a flat on Osbourne road with my Grandma.....Can't go wrong with a 'Spoonz' curry for the money!😋😋

I've experienced this myself too, you think you have to go to a specialist restaurant for a good curry, Durban is well known for curries and I've had one at a normal family restaurant there while the others in my group had steaks and it was one of the best curries I've ever had, and seriously hot. Sadly Durban is a bit off limits now and I don't know how many of those places are still open, two people were shot dead outside our hotel last time I was there, about 17 years ago, and we've not been back there since, shame really.
I pooped when i saw that ride. Spoons is spoons, some great, some shyte, we were in Kingston was great. You know there what the food is like. Blackpoo is becoming the cesspit of England, i loved the town, hate it now.

I quite like Wetherspoons curry's to be fair. Not so long ago they did a Vindaloo one which is definitely hotter than their Jalfrezi, but i love spicy food anyway so really enjoyed that one. I always find that the poppadoms at Spoons are stale. Its the only downside to their curry's. One thing i did notice was that Stephens naan bread was pre-buttered/oiled, whereas yours wasn't. Bit strange that lol. I think they're good value for money, especially that they include a drink too. I'm going for an 8/10. Would have been 8.5 if the poppadom wasn't a floppadom lol. No idea why they don't have steak there. Never known that before. There must be a shortage of cows in Blackpool or something 😂🤣 Great video again guys. Thanks for sharing🙂👍

We were in Wetherspoons in York a few weeks ago . One Wetherspoons was shut due to renovation, and the other had no steaks on the menu. We asked about it and they said it was temporary at their restaurant while they had their kitchen updated. So ….the steaks haven’t gone forever! 👍🏼😁🥩🥩

Hi Lee, great vid, the worst mixed grill i`ve ever had, was at what used to be the Wetherspoons in Ferndown, down here in Dorset. I think it must have been kept warm, or re-heated for a week, it was fucking awful.
Mixed grill was missing from the menu when i visited a Wetherspoons in London a month ago. I guess its their best value meal( smallest profit) and some venues are dropping it from the menu.

The three wethers in blackpool have stopped serving steaks but if u go to poulton, St annes or cleveleys wethers they are doing them. Not done this part of the menu for some time.. no idea why. But velvet coaster is a top pub in the sun

As for getting a real job, people commenting need to look deeper into what goes in to making the videos, the travelling, the editing, the time spent away from family. I for one couldn't do it and I take my hat off to the ones that do, much respect.

You've jogged my memory, just before I left for the states I had a spoons spicy pizza and wow, me and my kid came close to death with how spicy it was 😂😂
I am a spice enthusiast myself, but you will be hard pressed to get food spiced at my level of tolerance. While the capsaicin doesn't cause any ill effects to your body if you are healthy, the fear and what you feel is still very real, as such, you need to respect yourself and other's spice tolerance levels and not use it as a prank. Hotter peppers exists for those who have grown tolerant to the lower levels, as you eat spicy food often, your body will start to tolerate it more, and the effect of the chili becomes "weaker" so to get the same effect, you need something stronger. So if you want to enjoy spicy food, start small, and once the effect becomes weaker for you, that is when you move up a grade. If you go up the chili grades too early, it just burns and you won't taste any of the other flavors from either the chili or the food itself. As surprising as it may sound, the various chili's have different tastes to them, but for some to enjoy and feel that, you have to be on the correct level of tolerance.
Nothing wrong with the Wetherspoons! I use them wherever I go. They are a ‘known’ quality and quantity.

Blackppols Ghetto starts at the Western end of the M55. You only exit the ghetto when you hit the Eastbound sliproad onto the M55.
