- Long time no see :,) I’ve been into making earrings recently so here’s how to make earrings! It’s an easy diy and so cute and trendy/aesthetic(?)! I hope you enjoy the video~! My favorite earring is the Korean banana milk one :) Which one is your favorite?
note: it shrinks to 1/3 of its original size! (I should’ve made it smaller oops)

For anyone reading this, don’t waste your time reheating them to get them flat. Right when the come out of the oven use a flat glass cup, bowl, or plate flatten them down while they are still hot. Also shrink one at a time because doing so will stop the others from hardening in lumpy twisted positions while you’re flattening the others.

And to protect your designs, I would recommend using a sealer on them. Personally, I use a (clear) embossing powder off of Amazon that works like a charm. The design on my non-embossed earrings started flaking off, but my embossed earrings I made for someone are 100% fine.

@@fiya368 I've never used uv resin, but I've seen other people use it by painting it on with a small brush. If you have it on hand I would make a test charm out of scraps (I usually do color swatches with my scraps) and see if it reacts well to your colors, and if it sets up.
Btw if u want the image to stop moving while ur tracing from your iPad, press the home button three times and enable guided access, that freezes ur screen and then u can turn it back into normal by pressing it three times again

these are super cute! also, with the translucent shrink plastic, you can use paint and colored pencils, as it has a rough surface. :> also, when you're painting, be sure not to add too many layers or go over the same spot multiple times, or they will turn out bumpy like yours did

I always asked myself that: what do the translucent ones look like after baking? Do they become clear while they shrink or are they just glossy from one side? Thanks in advance!
@@friederike5607 the translucent ones just appear... translucent, but they are not glossy, unfortunately. you can always put a clear coat for that glossy look though!

@@BubbleBunnyy actually, that almost happened to mine!!! I used a toaster instead of an oven though cause we got no oven. And since no money anymore to buy shrink plastics, I guess the time I had that experience of shrinking was probably 2017!!! >_

Shrinky Dinks are literally my favorite, I use them for SO many of my earrings

If you don’t have the shrinky dink paper you can you a old plastic cookie carton that has a 6 with a ♻️under it then you can cut ,decorate,shrink

Quick tip. I recommend u put a bit of resin on top of earnings to give a nice 3d look and to secure the Sharpe.

They usually shrink to 1/3 of its original size so maybe from a peach to a cherry size maybe?

Just something I learned, when I take them out of the oven I use a pot to flatten them to make sure the edges are completely flat :)))

Does anyone know how I can make dangle earrings face the right way? Mine flip around to the wrong side a lot-theyre made out of clay so one side is the design and the other is flat
I haven’t tried it yet but I think you can clip on two jump rings to attach to the charm rather than just one
Depends... is your earring hook facing the right way? And is your jump ring align with the earring hook so when they dangle they face forward ? Iv also had the same problem, but sometimes that’s all we can do !
Make sure you put them on the right direction, like with the eye pins you gotta make sure you put them in the right direction so when you hang them up they don’t turn in a weird direction
Hi! Jewelry business owner here! Usually, I make my own hooks, but what I do is either attach the bead (whatever you're putting on) to the actual hook itself. Or if you want to use a jump ring, take the loop at the end of the hook, and twist it until it's horizontal instead of vertical! Hope this helps!
