Small correction: the United States flag on the rendered Air Force One jet at 3:31 is displayed incorrectly. When displaying the United States flag on a uniform, vehicle, or aircraft, the stars in the blue field should always be positioned on the side that is facing forward. The flag is designed to be displayed with the stars in the blue field positioned forward because it symbolizes the flag being in motion, as if it’s flying. This positioning represents the honor and respect associated with the flag, emphasizing that the stars are leading the way, whether on a uniform, vehicle, or aircraft. It’s a way to maintain the flag's integrity and proper display etiquette.
The more logical flag display protocol is the display on a person's right shoulder or movable object's right side should have the blue field on the upper right corner to emulate the person/object moving forward and the wind unfurling the flag to the left or rear.
For what it's worth, the flag on the tail of Air Force One at 3:40 is backward. Flags are always painted as they would be seen if blowing in the wind, in this case from the starboard side of the aircraft the flag would blow from right to left and therefore appear backward, as if it were on a flagpole.
@ You’re correct that it is a render of the plane, but the render is in error. As to your second point, it’s actually federal law how the flag is to be displayed. It’s called the United States Flag Code. I presume however that you’re just being sarcastic.
757 is very fast and a great climber. 747 is much heavier, has a high cruising speed, longer range and much larger inside. They are both Boeing products from the era Boeing made great aircraft.
You failed to mention that there's 2 Air Force one's and when the president flies in one, the other one also flies as a decoy, that's probably why it's so expensive to operate it.
Air force 1 is serviced after every flight which doesn't happen to Trump plane. Air force 1 has many many defence capacity which Trump plane doesn't have.
@@dreamcore Wrong, yes the second also serves as backup but is a required decoy on every flight and the primary purpose for 2 diplomatic versions as shown here and 2 doomsday versions with a simpler paint job. 2 identical aircraft is the mandate and use to be 3 identical cars for a "shell game" defense factor.

A comparison to the smaller air force one (dubbed air force two sometimes) designed to land where the larger plane can not might be a better comparison.
Aluminum does not rust. Airplanes are built with Aluminum, so there will not be any rust anywhere on the Surface, but landing gear components are made of Steel, so they need to be periodically checked for rust, and it must be addressed immediately when found.
That's not quite right. "Air Force One" refers to any USAF aircraft bearing the president. If POTUS is on a Navy plane, the callsign is "Navy One" -- you might remember George W Bush flew Navy One on his way to an aircraft carrier. If POTUS is on a Marine craft, it's "Marine One." And, if he's on a private jet, it's "Executive One."
"Rust on the airplane" Re, Air Force 1. (At about 9:45) You lost all credibility, do you even know these aircrafts are made from a non ferrous metal? Most know it is an Aluminum skin and most of the substructure. Most aircraft in the air today were built well before 2000. And you can be sure they are airworthy, and inspected on a regular basis. Especially in this class of aircraft. Even General Aviation aircraft are inspected and records kept for the government to inspect. It is not unusual to fly an aircraft built in the 1970"s or before. I guess, it fits, "Beyond Facts" rethink, "Not the actual Facts" could be a better fit.

I personally feel that the president should only use the government plan for things related to the government. It shouldn’t be used for him to fly around on a campaign trail. Shouldn’t use it for vacations. At that point the government could charter a smaller plane to take the family and security detail and a larger security detail flys either military transport or commercial once designated places.
Well let's be honest. Airforce One is not a private plain. It's actually public transportation. The taxpayers own and pay all the bills for it. But we aren't allowed to use it.
@@meikgeik Actually there are plenty of current photos and video of TF1, considering that he flies it constantly. Actually I saw it just earlier today here in Las Vegas. Anyone that knows Trump knows that he's obsessed with luxury and cleanliness.

I read the "new" AF1 that Trump got when he was in office didn't have the refueling capability. It was left off either for cost, practicality or weight.
Depending on when the interview was, Trump’s plane may have been bigger than Air Force One at the time. It wasn’t always a 747. I toured one Air Force One at the Reagan library and it was shockingly small. The guide had said that President W. Bush was the last president to use it before the bigger aircraft took its place.
Both are impressive but I’m pretty sure nothing can touch Air Force one’s capabilities. That thing can fly for days while using in air refueling. Now when it comes to fit and finish Trumps gold plated jets takes the cake.
It goes both ways for me. If I’m just some average Joe, I’m taking Trump’s plane because its luxury fit is superior. By the way, when Trump said his plane was “bigger than Air Force One”, he meant in terms of living space. Not physical size. Anyway, but if I’m the most important man in the world, obviously I’m taking Air Force One for its defense capabilities, despite how much of a logistical nightmare it is. Yeah, Trump’s plane is hella old, but at the end of the day it can still fly. I’d much rather prefer his plane over any modern Boeing jet, y’know, for reasons that Boeing wouldn’t like to be public. (If I die, just know that it wasn’t me who did it. I’d never shoot myself in the back 20 times in my basement that doesn’t exist) Trump’s plane is a lot more convenient than the AFO. And its color scheme a lot nicer. Black on red on white looks nice on a jet.
@@prettyboy1970 Cessna’s are chad-built planes that require less maintenance and fuel. Prop planes in general are more reliable and safer because they have fewer moving parts than a jet engine. So yes, taking range and capacity out of the question, a Cessna is “bigger” than a Boeing.

@@PhillJennings you make a good point. I got nothing. 😁
I'm so glad that I wasn't the only one that noticed the flag positioned in the wrong direction.
It is correct on AF 1, just not on these graphics.
One thing is common between the two: both are beautiful aircraft if you're an aviation enthusiast.
Indeed. Both are fantastic aircraft.
I would just like to point out at 2:45 those are CF6-80C2B1 engines as they are newer and more efficient. The JT9Ds were for older civilian aircraft.
I second this
I recall this mistake a couple decades ago with the patches. US flag should never appear in retreat.
The more logical flag display protocol is the display on a person's right shoulder or movable object's right side should have the blue field on the upper right corner to emulate the person/object moving forward and the wind unfurling the flag to the left or rear.
What's next, comparing his private limo with the presidential limo "Beast"? Idiotic video.
His limo would still probably be nicer inside. AF1 is a government owned jet, and it shows.

For what it's worth, the flag on the tail of Air Force One at 3:40 is backward. Flags are always painted as they would be seen if blowing in the wind, in this case from the starboard side of the aircraft the flag would blow from right to left and therefore appear backward, as if it were on a flagpole.
That was bugging me too. Stars forward as seen here 5:32
Saw that too. “These colors don’t run, son!”😂
I looked through the comments before posting to see who else noticed this glaring error.
First, it's a 3D image of the plane and not real. Second, I think that's more for soldiers than aircraft.
@ You’re correct that it is a render of the plane, but the render is in error. As to your second point, it’s actually federal law how the flag is to be displayed. It’s called the United States Flag Code. I presume however that you’re just being sarcastic.
A big difference is: one is funded by the American Taxpayers
757 is very fast and a great climber. 747 is much heavier, has a high cruising speed, longer range and much larger inside. They are both Boeing products from the era Boeing made great aircraft.
You failed to mention that there's 2 Air Force one's and when the president flies in one, the other one also flies as a decoy, that's probably why it's so expensive to operate it.
Air force 1 is serviced after every flight which doesn't happen to Trump plane. Air force 1 has many many defence capacity which Trump plane doesn't have.
Both might not fly at the same time
They're backups for one another, not decoys
@@dreamcore Wrong, yes the second also serves as backup but is a required decoy on every flight and the primary purpose for 2 diplomatic versions as shown here and 2 doomsday versions with a simpler paint job. 2 identical aircraft is the mandate and use to be 3 identical cars for a "shell game" defense factor.
@@charlesmaurer6214 "Wrong", then you say I'm right, then you drop demonstrably wrong info about "doomsday versions" which are different aircraft not discussed here. The "primary purpose" is that the president has a ride when the other is in maintenance as they often are.

U can't seriously be comparing someone's private jet to the plane that carries the most powerful person
Why not?
A comparison to the smaller air force one (dubbed air force two sometimes) designed to land where the larger plane can not might be a better comparison.
Aluminum does not rust. Airplanes are built with Aluminum, so there will not be any rust anywhere on the Surface, but landing gear components are made of Steel, so they need to be periodically checked for rust, and it must be addressed immediately when found.

@@frank-ko6de No problem 👍

That's not quite right. "Air Force One" refers to any USAF aircraft bearing the president. If POTUS is on a Navy plane, the callsign is "Navy One" -- you might remember George W Bush flew Navy One on his way to an aircraft carrier. If POTUS is on a Marine craft, it's "Marine One." And, if he's on a private jet, it's "Executive One."
@@honeyboy1 yes. That’s why I said “aircraft”. Probably too broad but yes you are correct

Maybe you lost credibility, the timestamp is at 8:42 not 9:45

It's amazing what can be built (Air Force One) when you absolutely don't care what it costs because it isn't your money.
When the plane was parked, it was getting overhauled with upgraded and updated engines and updated software, hence why the engines were removed and in plastic. I'll take the older 1991 model over this new stuff relying on too many sensors...
When it’s repossessed they will get more for the scrap metal 😂😂
He's got both now Trump 2024💢25💢26
I personally feel that the president should only use the government plan for things related to the government. It shouldn’t be used for him to fly around on a campaign trail. Shouldn’t use it for vacations. At that point the government could charter a smaller plane to take the family and security detail and a larger security detail flys either military transport or commercial once designated places.
Whole first half I was caught up in the Erik Satie score. Goes good with every video

I read the "new" AF1 that Trump got when he was in office didn't have the refueling capability. It was left off either for cost, practicality or weight.
Doesnt make sense, in an emergency you may need to stay in the air for longer time and thats when aerial refueling is needed
Cables and push-rods? Lol. It has hydraulics that are tripple redundant.
Airforce 1 is a 747-200 making it older than the 757 having analogue dials and no digital displays making the 747-200 older than trumps 757-200
Uhhh no, nearly all 747 s regardless of series have mostly been updated. The presidential 747 is all glass.
I’d never shoot myself in the back 20 times in my basement that doesn’t exist)
Trump’s plane is a lot more convenient than the AFO. And its color scheme a lot nicer. Black on red on white looks nice on a jet.
trump is such a childish liar, he would have said his plane was larger even if it was just a single engine Cessna.
@@prettyboy1970 Cessna’s are chad-built planes that require less maintenance and fuel. Prop planes in general are more reliable and safer because they have fewer moving parts than a jet engine. So yes, taking range and capacity out of the question, a Cessna is “bigger” than a Boeing.
fun fact, air force 1 isnt a specific plane, it is the code name for whatever plane the president is currently on
But the Boeing 747 is what we see a lot for Air Force One!
