Then a local bus from Lagos to Budens.
I am going on a Workaway volunteering placement.. frugal travel... indeed I hope.
Have you a video about house-sitting? That's so interesting.
Thanks SO much for your answers.
I am loving your you tube videos. My hubby and I are definitely
Definitely going to Porto now to eat those plates of the day and explore the city.
@@julieeggleton9743 Thank you for your lovely comment and taking so much from our videos. We're actually working on a housesitting video at the moment so that might be out in the next couple of weeks.
Re: trains vs buses - trains are actually cheaper in the Algarve than the local bus company. I'll put a link in a comment below to the Portuguese train website... we use it often.
Good luck on your WorkAway - it'll be great to hear how it goes! ~ Mandy
@@julieeggleton9743 I love Porto! It's such a magical city...and it has the cheapest and best value Menus do Dia of anywhere we've been in Portugal! We made loads of videos from there as loved it so much 😃😁 ~ Mandy
Wow 🤩 great video! What is your tip advice for finding renting needed for D7 application por favor? Appreciated, blessings 🦋🌺
Hello Carolina. Thank you for your lovely comment. Re: renting a property for a D7 visa, there are some excellent Facebook groups that provide great information and advice. We swear by the British Expats in Portugal FB group - I'm sure questions like yours have been asked and answered recently! ~ Mandy
Does Obidos include a lot of walking? Considering no cars allowed inside. Worries since I am traveling with elderly
@@rawhk There are some carparks fairly close by, and in theory, you could simply walk up the main street and back down again fairly easily. We've made a few Óbidos videos so hopefully you can get an idea of the terrain...

Hahhha... so close! 🥳🎉 We would say please share with your friends but we're not into the habit of begging for subs 😆👍 Our viewers are the discerning sort, and don't feel the need to follow the trend 😁🙏♥️ ~ Mandy
Are you planning to go back to the Algarve for the winter ?
@@bearders22 Lee would love to go back to the Algarve... we'll see what housesitting gigs we have lined up. At the moment January and February are looking pretty sparse so we might head back to Portimão for 2 months 😁😃 ~ Mandy
What month were you there? We are thinking late late to mid May 2022
Hello Kat. We were there housesitting near Óbidos in July and August. We went there twice, with one day being cold and cloudy, and the other day being sunny but windy. Fingers crossed you have good weather! ~ Mandy
Is there a way to see the views without walking the walls?? I don't think I can handle the heights without a least the small wall.
Some sections are easier and less scary than others. You could ascend the steps, admire the views and then go back down without walking the walls. It's all quite lovely. 😍
@@FrugalTravellers Thank you for your reply, I'll be there soon and I'm looking forward to it very much. And thank you for all the videos, I've been watching them to learn more about what I want to see in Portugal
@@carlah5341 It's always wonderful to hear that our videos are proving helpful for people planning a trip to Portugal, as it gives us a boost on those days when the laptop goes slow and editing seems to be an uphill battle 😉😂 Our aim is to share our travels and to provide practical information and prices Hearing positive feedback from viewers like yourself show us that we're on the right track. 🤣 The flour!

Hey guys, where is your nice videos about how much things cost in there, we love the travel videos but more we need is actual living issues where u are, take care
Hey GP. That's a very good point! Our Frugal Travel Costs videos for Bulgaria and Estonia took weeks to make and didn't do very well, so at the moment we would rather keep on top of our recent travels and incorporate Frugal Travel information into those.
Remember that we've been housesitting since July so it's €0 for accommodation 😁🤣 What other costs of living would you be interested in? ~ Mandy
Bombocas...😋👍🏻
They were delicious! I wish we'd bought the mixed box for €10 😃😁 ~ Mandy
I'D be needing to go to the loo if I was on top of those walls with no railing, all right.
You and me both 🤣😁 ~ Mandy
