Hypothesis: The air fried bacon was more salty because bacon is cured in salt, and it's the only one that didn't have some of its salt dissolved and washed away by oil.
Oil is groups of pure hydrocarbons so is apolar and incapable of dissolving ionic compounds. Some salt will be washed away by the physical interaction of the oil on the surface of the bacon but this is likely seen in the air dryer too as solid fat renders to a liquid it will have a similar physical effect. Its just speculation but id assume the air frying process has a more dessicating effect than standard methods of cooking because of increased air circulation leading to drier bacon ergo saltier percieved taste.
On Buzzfeed's show Worth It, cameraman Adam is worshipped and he is one of the quietest people. Keith could learn a thing from Adam. There is an art to subtlety..and then there's Keith
One other method I've tried that worked great, was to cook bacon by starting off with it in a traditional frying pan, but in water, boil the water off, then continue frying as normal.
I agree bacon over coals .... Cut package in half 1/2 separate each slice Other half do not separate and put on grill (not separating does take longer...) Be sure to put a drip pan under bacon to catch dripping for both (easy clean up) and do indirect heat for cooking set up.
In fairness the humor thing is probably because he isn't used to being on camera but the loudness is definitely not cool because (espically for head phone users like ouch was he loud) also how he just ripped the bacon from Callie's hand and wasn't listening to what they where saying like to not judge the bacon of texture or to fight over peices. BTW- You guys forgot a method. Many restaurants partially cook the bacon in the oven, then finish in a skillet as it is needed. This way most of it gets done at once, which is a time saver. Later, cold partially bacon is finished in a skillet when it’s ordered, but since it’s already been cooked, this step doesn’t take very long, and the order goes out quick.

For oven cooked bacon, you place the bacon strips on a rack which is placed in a rimmed baking sheet. This way the hot air circulates all around and it does not fry in its own fat. This also results in a flatter (less curled) bacon strip.
It is all about his height and looks. If he was 6ft 2 and way better looking and acted the same their would be no complaints from viewers or people on set, they would have worked around his act and accommodated his jokes much better. That's just the way the world works.

Personally, I nearly always do bacon in the oven: I can do a whole pound at once, and it is set-and-forget while I work on the other parts of a meal. Flavor is still fantastic, and all the bacon is done at once, but with very little fuss, very little mess. I haven't tried several of the methods shown, but frying pan is my least favorite because I have to pay attention too much, and the bacon has to be done in batches. Batches means I have to not eat the hot bacon I just cooked while I focus on cooking the next pan-full! Miserable. It is proof of my angelic nature that my children ate bacon before I discovered oven bacon.

Personally, I nearly always do bacon in the oven: I can do a whole pound at once, and it is set-and-forget while I work on the other parts of a meal. Flavor is still fantastic, and all the bacon is done at once, but with very little fuss, very little mess. I haven't tried several of the methods shown, but frying pan is my least favorite because I have to pay attention too much, and the bacon has to be done in batches. Batches means I have to not eat the hot bacon I just cooked while I focus on cooking the next pan-full! Miserable. It is proof of my angelic nature that my children ate bacon before I discovered oven bacon.

TKOR: You should try cooking bacon in a frying pan on a grill. I've only experinced gas grill, but I bet charcoal grill would be even better. And compare that to stove top frying pan.
