- This song, as well as "Silent Rage" and "Loose Cannon", were from a demo that Jaz Coleman and Youth recorded during the making of their 2003 self-titled album with Geordie Walker recording a separate set of instrumental demos around the same time. There was an upload of this on RUclips but it must've gotten taken down. It's on a couple of compilations on here though.

Great surprise. Geordie was a fantastic guitarist, so much songs/ demoes he couldnt stop making great riffs. He would be missed, I miss him , Rest In Peace Geordie 😢
Possibly the greatest track they never released. Met Jaz on Sat night after the 'Unspeakable' gig in Wolverhampton and asked him about what happened to this track - told me a couple of amazing facts about it which explained why!
Why it hasn't been released? Please, tell more
So I hunted high and low for an actual copy of the 2001 Demos cD and while I never found a physical copy I found a guy with a physical copy and I asked him to name his price for high quality .flac copies and he got them to me and took no money.
Anyway, turns out the sound quality is only about 2% better than what was previously available on download sites. Unfortunately that’s the mix the band went with. Same with Silent Rage.
I’m still trying to figure out the lyrics since the idea of Future Shock is interesting and perfect fodder for a KJ song.
Glorious!
Thanks for sharing
with a decent mix could be a good song but their eponymous release is already sheer perfection. I saw them on that tour in DC, stood behind Dave Grohl. Jaz was shrooming hard that night and threw up several times ending the show a bit early.
Quanto mi manca Geordie 😢 bella sorpresa questo demo ❤Geordie x me vive 🎸
This is good but sound a bit James Bond theme music 🤔
