Willy Pooh as in these are all modified with different exhausts but sound exactly the same not much different from standard. Duh
The problem is standard Fiestas, like you suggest sound different than this. If you can't hear the difference then there's something wrong with your hearing. Again, all Miatas sound the same, all focus sound the same, etc. If most of them share the same tune then of course they're going to sound the same.., DUHH..
I own a Mk7 Fiesta ST, the sound isn't worth mentioning - but the driving, truely amazing!

@@Rookiereece I'm from germany so we're a little restricted with legal tuning parts. But I got a Roar Exhaust from Don Silencioso, which is pretty loud. Although I personally think, even with a decat race exhaust the Mk7 doesn't sound that awesome, because of the engine itself - but I really love this car^^
Kalyi89 how strict are they over there ? What would be considered illegal compared to us in the uk ?
@@killerevo9878 I cant speak for UK, but I will try to give some examples: Open CAI are not allowed on open streets in general. Also blow off valves. Decat is also not allowed. Too loud exhaustsystems also. If have built in a New suspension, even only springs, you have to go the the tüv, where an engineer checks if everthing is built in properly e.g. - the same for intercooler, downpipe and so on. Which All have to have a special number, which indicates if this Part is licencensed to get built in legally (which almost dubbles the price of every Part, plus the cost of the tüv itself). Powerincreases e.g. are very very costly, if you want to have it legal in your Papers. Often more than the parts themselves.

I own a mk8 ST3 and let’s be honest no fiesta sounds that good. The engines are too small and muted. They are however very fun to drive, cheap and practical which is why people buy them.

Chris R-Watts i drive a mk7 ST mp215 and i think the mk7 doesnt sound too bad but the mk8 ST sounds great, it has a nice note and good standard exhaust sound. Theres a performance edition mk8 3 miles from my house in northern ireland and im very tempted to upgrade after this lockdown as ive had the mk7 just over 3 years now, love the mk8.
Miles and any problem? I am looking to buy one in the next 2months! Does it worth it? Any other suggestions?

As a MK7 owner...this is cringe to watch. Alot of these are just boy racers slapping on a bov adapter and a burble tune thinking they're fast. There was very few that I enjoyed, But I guess that goes for any Factory turbo hot hatch 🤷🏼♂️
And will have the balls to put a “Ford performance” sun strip on 💀

@@stormsekules9935 because of the anti lag tunes ran by rally cars, it made a hype about cars popping, banging and burbling. People don’t understand from factory these cars burble and pop.. adding more fuel with throttle cut ontop of what these cars do naturally is obnoxious. I did 30%+ injectors running E40 on my fiesta, no added tuning to do anything fancy, and she burbles and bangs quite often just out of its nature. If it’s natural I think it’s pleasant, tuning to do so are just over the top so I can agree with you.

I didn’t see one 5 door hatch, that’s all we got in the US from 14-19, I have a 14 ST with stage two Cobb tune 3” MBPR exhaust, short shift kit, and sticky Mitchlen tires, there rare here in the US, where I live the population is 17,000 and I have only registered ST in town.

I don't hate them, but i don't like them either, i wouldn't get one on mine, but a slight overrun gurgle kinda sound like when shifting in your average amg, that's kinda nice in my opinion

All these Fiestas with the pop bang tune, very interesting. I own a 16+ in the States and right now I only have a BOV adapter and an intake system but I don't think I'll ever get a pop bang crackle tune. The intake already gives the engine a really aggressive note and the BOV adapter is louder than those crackles.. Well some of them. 😂😂

To start with, they're not fake, they're a "real" product of the combustion and exhaust system. Also, hating on something that doesn't compromise you, doesn't speak well of you. I bet there's other people who hate what you drive or they way you have it. Regardless of the excuse, it's ignorant to hate something because it's different or because it doesn't fit our criteria.

The MK7 doesn’t sound BAD but they definitely screwed up making it sound GOOD.
They should have found a way to make it sound similar to the same model year Focus ST, at a minimum. Instead we get a very generic sounding turbo 4 that doesn’t exactly scream “performance”.

I guess motorcycles don't sound good then, they have small engines. Or what about some of those stupid muscle cars that make a lot of annoying sounds, I can't stand those. I always imagine people trying to compensate for something they're not with bigger and annoying things, to each their own indeed.
