Excellent video and great choices for 2 player games. Can you guys do a Best Games for 6 Players list? Or can you suggest some good games for 6 players (Medium weight games that can be played within 45 mins). We play 7 Wonders, Catan, Alhambra, Sagrada, Between 2 Cities and Smallworld. Suggestions for similar level games for 5/6 players will be very helpful. Thanks in advance
Great suggestion! We should do a video for larger gaming groups for sure. Might plan it for September. Until then you could take a look at Between two Castles of Mad King Ludwing (ruclips.net/video/cpWWw1O6-QE/видео.html), King of Tokyo or Cartographers.
It's a pretty new trend. You most likely will play through the story (legacy) just once, but you'll have multiple sessions to do so. And some of them are playable even after you finish the legacy part, you'll just have a unique game that no one else has (because of the characters you created, missions you failed/succeeded in, or cards you destroyed).
One other topic i'm interested. I never played and i think i will never like Deck Building games. At the same time maybe i'm missing really good games. Can you recommend really good Deck Building game which will change my understanding of Deck Building game. I don't know what is my expectation but i'm not competitive player so i'm not interested in duels (Magic or KeyForge). I really like co-op and story.
Hi.. w LoR the Card Game.. i thought they weren't gonna make any more expansions .. thats why I haven't gotten due to stopped production of the game (the Card Game)
Last we read they said “We have more planned for it,”... “So there'll be a little bit of a break and then there'll be more."... So fingers crossed for more content!
@@lynnburke2266 You can't go wrong Khazad-Dum or Hobbit Expansions. You can get a lot of plays with the core set and just one or two expansions, so no need to rush with buying everything.
Did you get something to the table this weekend? Check this newly found card game called Lagim Card and see how interesting and creative it is. Best card game for adults! you'll find both your strengths and weaknesses reflected in your custom deck of cards, and these cards will be your resources as you work with your friends to unravel the world's most terrifying mysteries.
Eurogames usually have a definite theme, however, the theme most often has very little to do with the gameplay. In other words, you can almost always take away the theme and add another one and it won't change much.
@@charliemopic470 Not really. Time Stories, 7th Continent, Eldritch Horror just to name a few. Here's the description from BGG if that helps to clear it up - boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/Eurogame
I think that Janis list is definately better!
Instablaster
Great choices! ^^ We mostly play with 2 players, so it's an important category for us!
Glad you liked it! We will probably do another one in the near future so stay tuned!
Really good video - snappy and concise with really good production! Look forward to seeing more.
High-quality video. Subscribed.
We appreciate it! And we promise to keep getting better!
@@BoardGameHangover Glad to hear that! I almost always play games as a duo so this type of video is especially appealing.
I like your format, with the categories.
Thanks! Happy you enjoyed it!
How did y'all just spring up with this quality of video
LotR makes any list a winner for me. Excellent video ya'll.
Can't go wrong with LotR! Thanks, friend!
Great lists. Seeing some of your picks, I highly suggest trying out Shards of Infinity as well.
Janis should improve his list to win next time. Nice lists guys for this period. Maybe share your opinion on different type of family games :)

please do the jaws of lion playthrough! we love your videos and you guys playing this would be so fun :)
We're actuality working on a playtrough series. Not Jaws just yet, but it's on our radar
Cartographers is our favorite game we always play
It's a great game! We've found a lot of success playing it with people who particularly don't play board games as well
@@BoardGameHangover same
Thanx for the good list.
But, was there a big 🔥🔥🔥 behind you?
Just a really sunny day :D
Love your video quality! Keep on making this lovely content!
Same goes for you guys!!
Did not know Legacy games existed. Does it mean you can play Legacy game only once? Nice video, btw.

Clank! might be the one for you to try. It's competitive but not a direct duel like Magic or Dominion.
What’s your thoughts on miniature war-games? Maybe some type of top 5 I tried but don’t like. 😀
Great idea! Excuse to play more miniture war-games is just what we need!!
Twice as Clever is the name in English
Yes, that's right!
I'm team Jānis!!!
Can you pin your lists in the comments or description?
On it! Thanks! (added them all to the description)
Janis list was waaaay better than Janis list.
I don't see Summoner Wars.. :(
Ahh, it has been years since I played that one. Maybe BGH should get it's hands on the 2nd ed.

Where the hell is Patchwork? JK, well not really.
It's seem these are German people
We're actually from Latvia - beautiful small country in Europe. But it's not far from Germany to be honest. :)
"Euro games are games without themes?"
Clueless.

@@BoardGameHangover You can say that about most 99% games, for Christ's sake.
