- A couple of weeks back I was invited to join the 9-42 Podcast (from the team behind The Guitar Show: the UK's biggest annual guitar event!); other guests have included Phil X, Chris Buck and Paul Stanley of KISS.
I got to chat with Jase and Ant about the 80's, todays ever-changing musical landscape, my background and, of course, some of our favourite session players!

Rich, very nice to hear Glen mentioned. Grew up watching him on TV every week with my Dad. Glen, Roy Clark, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed. To be back there again, just for one day.
Found a John Brimhall easy piano book of Glen’s songs while clearing out my Moms basement last year. I flipped to Wichita Lineman a few weeks back. That’s actually a fairly sophisticated piece! Big LA production sound at the time, with a full wrecking crew and orchestra. Just try playing it solo on guitar. It’s different.
Ah man! Wichita Lineman is one of my favourite songs of all time! Glen was such a badass guitar player - love the baritone solo on that track!

He's called Matthew Alexa! The album is going to be super cool well it's out - real 80's AOR vibes but with an edge!
