They were all well educated in music - piano lessons - singing in school choir trying out bands already as young. - late in the 60'es. They all play several instruments, have done solo work , and all four of them wrote no. 1 hits and all four are inducted in songwriters Hall of Fame . Roger and Brian have been lead singers in other constellations - made their own albums - as have Freddie - and had their own bands. Freddie wrote Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy little Thing called Love, and We are the Champions, Roger wrote Radio Gaga, Brian wrote Hammer to Fall and We will Rock you. John wrote some of the most popular songs but they didn't really fit into this set. They were/are all academics - Freddie had a degree in art and design - and designed the bands logo - John has a degree with hons. in electrical ingeniering and has designed an amp. that Brian uses to make his guitar sound like different musical instruments - the Deaky amp. - Roger has a degree in biology. - and has a son, Rufus Tiger Taylor, who is a drummer too - he has played with Queen after Freddie died - -Roger has made several soloalbums . Brian is knighted for different accomplicements and is sir Brian - - but also has a doctorate in astrophysics and is coworking with NASA - concerning interplanetary dust.- and is an activist concerning animal welfare . His family couldn't afford a guitar - so he and his father built it themselves from bits and pieces in the house when he was 17 - and he is still playing it 90 % of the time - it's called "The Red Special" - and is unique. For the last decade they have toured with Adam Lambert - all over the world for sold out venues - so new generations are fans - as well as their parents and grandparents. Roger and Brian are now in their 70´s - .They still have Freddie with them - - holograms, you know. Try and listen to "Who wants to live forever" from 2016. - the day after a mass shooting in a gay bar. Brian and Roger had NEVER heard it like that . Adam himself is gay and dedicated the song to the victims.
