Would love to see you try some of the high end Japanese ratchets like Nepros or the new 72 tooth Ko-ken Zeal ratchets. They can be ordered from Amazon Japan fairly easily. Nepros is the premium automotive line from Kyoto Tool Company and Ko-ken is a specialist in sockets which makes them relatively unique.
So, out of curiosity, how did you end up with that particular collection of wrenches? Do you do you purposefully collect a lot of them, or do you keep them around different places?
Mostly they have been bought because I want to try them. I don't have any need for this many, but curiosity has gotten the better of me. It's often in combination of getting a good price that has caused me to buy just these ones. The vintage ones has more been bought for collection only.
@@HandtoolsMore nice. I do a bit of the same thing myself. Curiosity and acquisitiveness gets the better of me, and just the desire to try new things. I'm glad to get in on this channel early and see where it goes. 99 subscribers now, and I am guessing it's going to get much bigger pretty fast.
Ja, es ist gut und ist nichts teuer. Und ein voll antworten im englisch. Yes, I would say it’s good. The mechanism is smooth and the long handle gives much power. My biggest complaint would be that the handle isn’t the nicest, the Stahlwille or Gedore have more comfortable handles.
@@HandtoolsMorehabe die 1/4 und 1/2 zusammen für 32 Euro gekauft das ist wirklich billig. Ich bin begeistert für den Preis unschlagbar. Danke für den Tipp.
You have got some some real beauties. I like the comfort grips so much that I've made many of my own on older ratchets.
Many thanks for this video, only miss two major actors in the area, i.e. Hazet and Stahlwille
Hello, what is your current favourite 1/4 drive ratchet? Would you concider making an updated video?

Yeah, I’m waiting for them to be available on Amazon Japan and then I want to get one. I’ll see if I go with 1/4” or 3/8” one though.
You can go try Palmac which is a second party that works with Koken 🇺🇸
