The result of resetting a convex beveled carving axe

In this short clip, I show the final stage of sharpening as well as stropping my Pail Krzyszkowski 1lb Viking Carving Axe. I can honestly say I’m very pleased with the results of the KME Axe Sharpening Kit and if you watch until the end you’ll see why!

Thanks for the video. What angle are you sharping to? Do you use other angles for other applications?

BarbedStar this one is right around 30° but I try to keep the bevels as close to the original angle as possible

It really depends on if you buy extra stones or accessories. Don’t quote me, but I think the base model is $150
