My daughter and I filmed on Wednesday. It was an amazing experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I was very fortunate that although it was very hot, God protected me from it and I was never really uncomfortable from the heat. My back was really bothering me when we finished because I am 81 years old and sitting on the ground for over an hour was not good for it. A couple from Pittsburgh stopped and pulled out a little stool for me so I didn't have to try to walk all the way to the tents. One of the volunteers took over from them and took such amazing care of me! Thank you, Kelly, for all you did. The whole experience was such a huge blessing in my life!!
I’m so happy for you! I’m 11 years younger and I don’t know if I could of done it with my bad knees. But by the grace of God I bet I could of. It’s wonderful you have those memories now. God blessings to you always.✝️☮️
The feeding of 5000 is so much smaller than the feeding of every life that is effected by this production. This is so obviously spiritual, I cannot help but become emotionally attached to this series. It cannot be understated, this is miraculous ministry live in our time. Blessings abound, lives are changed. Praise God who makes every beautiful work happen. Thank you all for your obedience and faith which makes all things possible in this moment in Jesus’ name! Glory!
My family and I were a part of this on Tuesday. We baked...but what a great experience! To be surrounded by fellow believers and fans of the show and catch a glimpse of how it's done was so incredible. The Chosen folks did a GREAT job of organization and made us all feel so welcomed. Can't wait to see the episode, the visuals will be amazing!
We went on Wednesday! My heart was so full all day! I continually had to praise the Lord for such great fellowship and beautiful retelling of His story. I was beyond blessed to glimpse the production!!!

One of the things that's overwhelmingly beautiful and emotional about the feeding of the 5k event is the fans from all over the world gathered to celebrate Jesus. You can feel their love and joy through the live stream. Which excites me, and make me very happy. The Church together in unity as God intended glorifying his Son. The cast, crew and 5k.
This is SO amazing! Definitely ONE OF THE GREATEST EXPERIENCES EVER! Both being in it and just WATCHING AND SOAKING IN THE RELEVANCE for each of us who love the Lord.
Two months ago I started watching "The Chosen" because a friend (from a Protestant Church - I'm from the Catholic Church) advised me to watch it...And...I want to THANK YOU all of you - the actors, the whole crew and all the people taking part to it - you help us go deeper in our Christian faith! Many thanks to you - and we feel like going back to the Bible... Your series is so different from what we used to see about the Bible...(apart from the interpretation from Christopher Fry - which I admire too...) I am so grateful to you! This is truly incredible. I wish I could've been apart of this scene but due to timing and money, I couldn't. I'm not sure if something like this will happen again but if it does, I've started saving so I can be there next time. I've watched The Chosen in it's entirety about 5 or 6 times now and it never gets old. I really believe this show saved my relationship with Jesus. I grew up in a christian household, I've heard the gospel my whole life and I got saved a really young age. But throughout my teen years, even though I went to church, I slipped off from God. I didn't really know how to talk to God or to pray "properly". And every time I tried to read the Bible, I always got overwhelmed with how hard it was to read. I never did anything bad like drugs or alcohol, but I did get myself into something I consider to be just as harmful, lust. For years, I was addicted to watching videos that should never have been filmed and events that should only be private between man and woman. What makes it worse is that I knew I was sinning and always felt guilty immediately right after. I would always repent but then do it again weeks or even days later. It just got to the point where I just stopped asking for forgiveness and instead wished for death because I felt so unworthy to be with Jesus in Heaven. But one day, my family told me about this show and that it's everything I've wanted from a Bible show. Like Dallas, I've seen my far share of Jesus movies and other christian movies that left me so underwhelmed and made me feel like it's impossible to even connect with Jesus. So like most people, I was skeptical to watch it but something in me, was just like when Jesus confronted Simon on the boat, and said "okay let's watch it." The first episode I saw from The Chosen was episode 3 of Season 1, and I believe God showed me this episode first for a reason. I was so impressed by watching it, watching Jonathan play Jesus, I felt like every word he spoke in this episode, I was hearing the words of Jesus. When it ended, I quickly said, let's watch the next episode right now. When we got to the boat scene with Jesus and Simon, and Simon was down on his knees and was repenting, saying "Lord depart from me because I am a sinful man." I couldn't help but feel that was me. Simon then said "what do you want from me? Anything you ask I will do." And Jesus responded with "Follow me." I've watched a lot of movies and TV shows in my life that I've been inspired by or have moved me to tears, but nothing quite like this. When Jesus said Follow me, I again felt like he was speaking to me through the TV. Every episode since then, I've had the same feelings every time, with every character. I think Mary Magdalin is the one character I feel the most similar with because, throughout her life, she too has heard God's words, ran away because she felt unworthy, but then Jesus comes in and says "Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name, You are mine." To say this show has changed my life would be an understatement. Thanks to this show, I've never felt more connected to Jesus in my entire life, I've prayed more this year than I have my entire life, and even though I've relapsed here and there with lust, this year alone I am seeing Jesus transforming the way I think and is healing me from my lust problem. I seriously can't thank God enough for giving me and so many others a show like this, that has changed so many lives, and has gotten people closer to the one thing that matters most and is eternal, Jesus and his kingdom. Thank you Chosen team, you all have been "Chosen" for a reason to work on this show. I am truly grateful to every single person working on this show. Thank you for helping save my relationship with Jesus.
Praise God for your testimony and thanks for being real and sharing your journey. God never makes a mistake! He's CHOSEN YOU for his purpose and glory ! Don't let Satan lie to you anymore about not being worthy! Jesus died so we could "come BOLDLY to the throne of grace , that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need"!!! Hebrews 4:16 I also struggled with feeling unworthy until the day the Lord spoke to me and said... When you believe the lies of Satan, you're calling ME a liar! OH BOY that was powerful for me! So when thoughts creep in, I rebuke them in the name of Jesus , because HE is the way the truth and the LIFE! GOD BLESS YOU!

Praise the Lord! Thank you for sharing your powerful testimony. God is so good, gracious and merciful! Jesus has pursued you and wants a relationship with you. To help my walk with Jesus, I try to seek Him daily, with my eyes fixed on Him, surrendering my mind, heart, body, soul and strength to Him. As He said in John 15, "Abide in me and I will abide in You". Commune with God, pray, read and meditate on His word, fellowship with like-minded followers of Jesus, stay in His presence. We were there yesterday for the filming. It was amazing! I was as hot as I've been in a long time. Lots of repetition and filming when we really couldn't see what was going on - BUT WHAT A PRIVILEGE to be a small part of this huge endeavor to accurately portray the amazing scale of the miracle! Somehow, from one little boy's lunch of 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, Jesus fed a multitude! The miracle continues as millions are fed through story of The Chosen.
The sheer magnitude of Logistics of managing 5,000+ people is pretty staggering for a film effort. For all of the Chosen staff, sound, security, medical, food, costumes, video, and countless other departments behind the scenes your efforts are amazing and so appreciated! "Amateurs discuss tactics, Professionals discuss logistics".

My daughter Rina and I were there yesterday! It was amazing! Everyone was so kind and friendly from all the crew and the other 5,000 extras. Dallas, at the end of his long hot & hard day, came on the shuttle bus to thank and give high fives to everyone. Really amazing for him to do that.

I am always surprised at the immediate connection that happens when you see somene in chosen gear! My friend who went to Texas with me but was not part of the filming said one of the things she enjoyed the most was just talking with the people (at the hotel or in a restaurant) and hearing their stories.

We were there Tuesday! 🥖+🐟 Amazing to be together with so many believers and celebrate The Chosen! Was up at 4am, there at 5:30am, on one of the last buses at just after 10pm, left the stadium about 10:30pm. I was not surprised Dallas and Amanda couldn’t hang around at the stadium that long to say goodbye to us! 😂 Thanks for hosting us, y’all! All the many details that had to happen to get what you needed! One tiny example - not sure how you kept thousands of bottles of water cold for us for so long!

My husband and I have so loved The Chosen. We have both been in theatre and film for many years and I love seeing just how much organization is required for such a project and feeding the 5,000. It also helps me to see just how incredible each of the apostles had to be with organization and having serving hearts. It also reminds me that being a disciple of Christ requires my serving heart and allowing the Lord to magnify my miniscule abilities to serve him with as much as I can. Thank you for showing us how much God can do when we allow Him.

Love the writing of the episodes and the actors portrayal of Bible characters. It really brings the Bible passages alive! It gives them such depth of emotion, motives, thought processes that add so much to the plausibility of the scenes. Makes me go “ Hmmm, I never thought about that before now.” Thank you!
My eyes tear up with excitement because I have heard Dallas’ testimony of how and why this show ended up being made. These videos and photos of all of these people who PAID to be there simply because Dallas brought and keeps bringing his loaves and fish. I see the multiplication and am just happy for Dallas and The Chosen.

My sister Tricia and I were honored to be a part! We are supposed to be there today but through the night I had chills and a fairly bad headache. My sister woke up with a headache. We found a packet of Gatorade you gave us and we are so thankful as we drink it now. To go back out there in 100 degrees would not be smart. We will be your prayer warriors for today as we drive back to Dallas. We love you and only wish e could have heard Jonathan and could have met Dallas. It is a blessed show from our Savior! Would have loved to have known all the denominations that came together to praise our Savior! The music was incredible! Thank you for the day! Thank you for the livestream! My girlfriend and I were both coming from Florida but she came down with Covid so I came alone. I went and did my PCR test and to my shock, the result was positive! Our day was for Wednesday. Needless to say we both are sad to not be there but are very much praying for all of you. Maybe I should have retested, don’t know but God knows and so thankful for all the videos and livestream!
@@proverbs2818 No...I wasn't there personally. I was simply pointing out that it took a lot of prayer and preparation to pull off something of this scale.
I was there on Wednesday, and that was exactly what I said! At the end of filming, we were all shuttled back to the stadium parking lot where the covid protocols had been conducted earlier in the day. Before we left the filming site, Dallas Jenkins came onto the bus to personally thank everyone for taking part, and went down the aisle giving a "high 5" to every single person on board. And if he did it to my bus, I'm sure he must have done the same thing on all the other buses. Assuming 50 people per bus, that's 100 buses--200 over the 2-day event! I heard rumors of 150 port-a-potties, but even if there were not actually that many, there were certainly several dozen--and they were clean! They didn't even smell! (That right there is a miracle, in my book!)
The story about "It's not up to you to feed the 5000" told by the guy who emailed Dallas, brought me to tears. And I've heard the story before. But having him tell it, and his obedience to the Lord, made The Chosen happen. Also, my favorite scene to date from the Chosen is from Indescribable Compassion (Season 1) when Jesus, in Zebedee's house, looks up to Tamar and said, "Your faith is beautiful." I hope to hear those words, at the end of my earthly pilgrimage, when I meet our Lord and have Him look at me the way Jesus looked at Tamar. That's the goal!!!

WOW at 15:02 when Tyler explains the part when he was looking out into the field and when Darrell said, “Can you believe the bread lasted!?” Tyler says, “At that moment this spectacle became spiritual”! The scene we are creating was a miracle then and today it all is a miracle! Not in our control but in the control of the Almighty. Lord show us that miracle in the outcome of this filming! Thank you for bringing this miracle alive to us all again today! I pray EVERYONE sees it and feels it with this scene! I’m am so blessed and so very thankful!!💞

I do often forget about those working behind the scenes but as someone who has worked behind the scenes in theatre, ballets and concerts, there is just as much discipline and commitment as those in front of the cameras. I had seen advertisements of The Chosen on Facebook early 2020. Looked good, but knew secular TV or movies were ok, but…then I saw a post by Kirk Cameron. He said he saw this great show about Jesus. Highly recommended it and that he had “paid it forward” for others to watch for free. Knowing he was a strong believer of Jesus, I decided to watch it. Loved the first episode. Love Mary of Magdela and how throughout the episode she was shown or quoted the verse in OT. Then when Jesus met Lilith where she was and called he by name…shared the same verse to her…and healed her! I still cannot watch that episode without crying! Love The Chosen! All the actor’s portrayals are great…hard to have favorites!
I wouldn’t have even thought about Jaír and makeup professionals would be the ones to ensure everyone is sunscreened. Thank you for giving of yourselves to this project and praying for all concerned.

Choosen is the best show that I have ever seen of Christ. I have seen both seasons 6 times. I have seen the Christmas shows 4 times. I can't wait to see seasons 3. I have prayed for the show daily. I love each one of you. God bless you.

What is amazing to me is that there are so many young people that are impacted by this production. Who are eager to hear the word because this made the bible alive to them. All children react to the visual I found this out teaching pre schoolers in Sunday school class.

My daughter and I filmed on Wednesday. It was an amazing experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I was very fortunate that although it was very hot, God protected me from it and I was never really uncomfortable from the heat. My back was really bothering me when we finished because I am 81 years old and sitting on the ground for over an hour was not good for it. A couple from Pittsburgh stopped and pulled out a little stool for me so I didn't have to try to walk all the way to the tents. One of the volunteers took over from them and took such amazing care of me! Thank you, Kelly, for all you did. The whole experience was such a huge blessing in my life!!

The feeding of 5000 is so much smaller than the feeding of every life that is effected by this production. This is so obviously spiritual, I cannot help but become emotionally attached to this series. It cannot be understated, this is miraculous ministry live in our time. Blessings abound, lives are changed. Praise God who makes every beautiful work happen. Thank you all for your obedience and faith which makes all things possible in this moment in Jesus’ name! Glory!
My family and I were a part of this on Tuesday. We baked...but what a great experience! To be surrounded by fellow believers and fans of the show and catch a glimpse of how it's done was so incredible. The Chosen folks did a GREAT job of organization and made us all feel so welcomed. Can't wait to see the episode, the visuals will be amazing!

We went on Wednesday! My heart was so full all day! I continually had to praise the Lord for such great fellowship and beautiful retelling of His story. I was beyond blessed to glimpse the production!!!

We love the chosen! it is a true blessing and I wish the whole world would watch this show. We would have loved to be a part of the 5,000.
One of the things that's overwhelmingly beautiful and emotional about the feeding of the 5k event is the fans from all over the world gathered to celebrate Jesus. You can feel their love and joy through the live stream. Which excites me, and make me very happy. The Church together in unity as God intended glorifying his Son. The cast, crew and 5k.
I feel the same way. Wish I could of been there. I live in Texas and haven’t gotten to go see anything. Yet that is. Praise King Jesus.

This is truly incredible. I wish I could've been apart of this scene but due to timing and money, I couldn't. I'm not sure if something like this will happen again but if it does, I've started saving so I can be there next time. I've watched The Chosen in it's entirety about 5 or 6 times now and it never gets old. I really believe this show saved my relationship with Jesus. I grew up in a christian household, I've heard the gospel my whole life and I got saved a really young age. But throughout my teen years, even though I went to church, I slipped off from God. I didn't really know how to talk to God or to pray "properly". And every time I tried to read the Bible, I always got overwhelmed with how hard it was to read. I never did anything bad like drugs or alcohol, but I did get myself into something I consider to be just as harmful, lust. For years, I was addicted to watching videos that should never have been filmed and events that should only be private between man and woman. What makes it worse is that I knew I was sinning and always felt guilty immediately right after. I would always repent but then do it again weeks or even days later. It just got to the point where I just stopped asking for forgiveness and instead wished for death because I felt so unworthy to be with Jesus in Heaven. But one day, my family told me about this show and that it's everything I've wanted from a Bible show. Like Dallas, I've seen my far share of Jesus movies and other christian movies that left me so underwhelmed and made me feel like it's impossible to even connect with Jesus. So like most people, I was skeptical to watch it but something in me, was just like when Jesus confronted Simon on the boat, and said "okay let's watch it." The first episode I saw from The Chosen was episode 3 of Season 1, and I believe God showed me this episode first for a reason. I was so impressed by watching it, watching Jonathan play Jesus, I felt like every word he spoke in this episode, I was hearing the words of Jesus. When it ended, I quickly said, let's watch the next episode right now. When we got to the boat scene with Jesus and Simon, and Simon was down on his knees and was repenting, saying "Lord depart from me because I am a sinful man." I couldn't help but feel that was me. Simon then said "what do you want from me? Anything you ask I will do." And Jesus responded with "Follow me." I've watched a lot of movies and TV shows in my life that I've been inspired by or have moved me to tears, but nothing quite like this. When Jesus said Follow me, I again felt like he was speaking to me through the TV. Every episode since then, I've had the same feelings every time, with every character. I think Mary Magdalin is the one character I feel the most similar with because, throughout her life, she too has heard God's words, ran away because she felt unworthy, but then Jesus comes in and says "Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name, You are mine." To say this show has changed my life would be an understatement. Thanks to this show, I've never felt more connected to Jesus in my entire life, I've prayed more this year than I have my entire life, and even though I've relapsed here and there with lust, this year alone I am seeing Jesus transforming the way I think and is healing me from my lust problem. I seriously can't thank God enough for giving me and so many others a show like this, that has changed so many lives, and has gotten people closer to the one thing that matters most and is eternal, Jesus and his kingdom. Thank you Chosen team, you all have been "Chosen" for a reason to work on this show. I am truly grateful to every single person working on this show. Thank you for helping save my relationship with Jesus.
Praise God for your testimony and thanks for being real and sharing your journey. God never makes a mistake! He's CHOSEN YOU for his purpose and glory !

I also struggled with feeling unworthy until the day the Lord spoke to me and said... When you believe the lies of Satan, you're calling ME a liar! OH BOY that was powerful for me! So when thoughts creep in, I rebuke them in the name of Jesus , because HE is the way the truth and the LIFE!

To help my walk with Jesus, I try to seek Him daily, with my eyes fixed on Him, surrendering my mind, heart, body, soul and strength to Him. As He said in John 15, "Abide in me and I will abide in You". Commune with God, pray, read and meditate on His word, fellowship with like-minded followers of Jesus, stay in His presence. We were there yesterday for the filming. It was amazing! I was as hot as I've been in a long time. Lots of repetition and filming when we really couldn't see what was going on - BUT WHAT A PRIVILEGE to be a small part of this huge endeavor to accurately portray the amazing scale of the miracle! Somehow, from one little boy's lunch of 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, Jesus fed a multitude! The miracle continues as millions are fed through story of The Chosen.
The sheer magnitude of Logistics of managing 5,000+ people is pretty staggering for a film effort. For all of the Chosen staff, sound, security, medical, food, costumes, video, and countless other departments behind the scenes your efforts are amazing and so appreciated!

I am always surprised at the immediate connection that happens when you see somene in chosen gear! My friend who went to Texas with me but was not part of the filming said one of the things she enjoyed the most was just talking with the people (at the hotel or in a restaurant) and hearing their stories.

We were there Tuesday! 🥖+🐟 Amazing to be together with so many believers and celebrate The Chosen! Was up at 4am, there at 5:30am, on one of the last buses at just after 10pm, left the stadium about 10:30pm. I was not surprised Dallas and Amanda couldn’t hang around at the stadium that long to say goodbye to us! 😂 Thanks for hosting us, y’all! All the many details that had to happen to get what you needed! One tiny example - not sure how you kept thousands of bottles of water cold for us for so long!

My husband and I have so loved The Chosen. We have both been in theatre and film for many years and I love seeing just how much organization is required for such a project and feeding the 5,000. It also helps me to see just how incredible each of the apostles had to be with organization and having serving hearts. It also reminds me that being a disciple of Christ requires my serving heart and allowing the Lord to magnify my miniscule abilities to serve him with as much as I can. Thank you for showing us how much God can do when we allow Him.

Love the writing of the episodes and the actors portrayal of Bible characters. It really brings the Bible passages alive! It gives them such depth of emotion, motives, thought processes that add so much to the plausibility of the scenes. Makes me go “ Hmmm, I never thought about that before now.” Thank you!

My eyes tear up with excitement because I have heard Dallas’ testimony of how and why this show ended up being made. These videos and photos of all of these people who PAID to be there simply because Dallas brought and keeps bringing his loaves and fish. I see the multiplication and am just happy for Dallas and The Chosen.
We are so grateful for all who made the event run so smoothly at the filming. We had an awesome experience on set and felt so well taken care of. We love The Chosen!
My sister Tricia and I were honored to be a part! We are supposed to be there today but through the night I had chills and a fairly bad headache. My sister woke up with a headache. We found a packet of Gatorade you gave us and we are so thankful as we drink it now. To go back out there in 100 degrees would not be smart. We will be your prayer warriors for today as we drive back to Dallas. We love you and only wish e could have heard Jonathan and could have met Dallas. It is a blessed show from our Savior! Would have loved to have known all the denominations that came together to praise our Savior! The music was incredible! Thank you for the day! Thank you for the livestream! My girlfriend and I were both coming from Florida but she came down with Covid so I came alone. I went and did my PCR test and to my shock, the result was positive! Our day was for Wednesday. Needless to say we both are sad to not be there but are very much praying for all of you. Maybe I should have retested, don’t know but God knows and so thankful for all the videos and livestream!

@@proverbs2818 No...I wasn't there personally. I was simply pointing out that it took a lot of prayer and preparation to pull off something of this scale.
I was there on Wednesday, and that was exactly what I said! At the end of filming, we were all shuttled back to the stadium parking lot where the covid protocols had been conducted earlier in the day. Before we left the filming site, Dallas Jenkins came onto the bus to personally thank everyone for taking part, and went down the aisle giving a "high 5" to every single person on board. And if he did it to my bus, I'm sure he must have done the same thing on all the other buses. Assuming 50 people per bus, that's 100 buses--200 over the 2-day event! I heard rumors of 150 port-a-potties, but even if there were not actually that many, there were certainly several dozen--and they were clean! They didn't even smell! (That right there is a miracle, in my book!)

The story about "It's not up to you to feed the 5000" told by the guy who emailed Dallas, brought me to tears. And I've heard the story before. But having him tell it, and his obedience to the Lord, made The Chosen happen. Also, my favorite scene to date from the Chosen is from Indescribable Compassion (Season 1) when Jesus, in Zebedee's house, looks up to Tamar and said, "Your faith is beautiful." I hope to hear those words, at the end of my earthly pilgrimage, when I meet our Lord and have Him look at me the way Jesus looked at Tamar. That's the goal!!!

WOW at 15:02 when Tyler explains the part when he was looking out into the field and when Darrell said, “Can you believe the bread lasted!?” Tyler says, “At that moment this spectacle became spiritual”! The scene we are creating was a miracle then and today it all is a miracle! Not in our control but in the control of the Almighty. Lord show us that miracle in the outcome of this filming! Thank you for bringing this miracle alive to us all again today! I pray EVERYONE sees it and feels it with this scene! I’m am so blessed and so very thankful!!💞

I do often forget about those working behind the scenes but as someone who has worked behind the scenes in theatre, ballets and concerts, there is just as much discipline and commitment as those in front of the cameras. God bless the crew, volunteers, writers, production team and everyone in between. Love you all.

I had seen advertisements of The Chosen on Facebook early 2020. Looked good, but knew secular TV or movies were ok, but…then
I saw a post by Kirk Cameron. He said he saw this great show about Jesus. Highly recommended it and that he had “paid it forward” for others to watch for free. Knowing he was a strong believer of Jesus, I decided to watch it. Loved the first episode. Love Mary of Magdela and how throughout the episode she was shown or quoted the verse in OT. Then when Jesus met Lilith where she was and called he by name…shared the same verse to her…and healed her! I still cannot watch that episode without crying! Love The Chosen! All the actor’s portrayals are great…hard to have favorites!
I wouldn’t have even thought about Jaír and makeup professionals would be the ones to ensure everyone is sunscreened. Thank you for giving of yourselves to this project and praying for all concerned.

Choosen is the best show that I have ever seen of Christ. I have seen both seasons 6 times. I have seen the Christmas shows 4 times. I can't wait to see seasons 3. I have prayed for the show daily. I love each one of you. God bless you.

What is amazing to me is that there are so many young people that are impacted by this production. Who are eager to hear the word because this made the bible alive to them. All children react to the visual I found this out teaching pre schoolers in Sunday school class.
