Thank you much appreciated!!!
Zoro has them at reasonable prices, Zoro also gives out 10%-20% discounts regularly. Good stuff, thanks!
Thanks Ed for the info!!!!
The 1/4 flex head is one of my all time favorites. I grab it over way more expensive ones all the time.
Thanks chris for joining in and sharing!!
I need to purchase some of these Williams ratchets to add to my USA ratchets! Good series Jeff and you are right we need to support the USA brands when we can so they all don't disappear on us. Don't pay attention to the Trolls my friend there is a lot of people that love this channel!
Thanks joe for joining in!! thats why im doing this series to promote USA tools!! yea the Trolls are on everybodys channel, lol!! take care!!
Williams line up looks good. Looking forward to the series.
Thanks jthomos for taking a gander!!!
it is just a snap on 936
Jeff, don't forget the Williams screwdrivers you reviewed!
No sir!!!!! there coming up,thanks don!!!!
The Williams ratchets could very well be just what I've been looking for. There is just one addition that Williams needs to make. Put their plastic screwdriver handle on a long flex head 3/8 ratchet and color it RED! While they are at it they can add yellow, orange and, for those who like it, that hideous green that I can't stand. Williams is missing out on a great opportunity since Snap-on has discontinued the plastic handles on their ratchets.
Great idea, 👍 I hope someone at Williams is paying attention. I'll take mine with a black handle though.
Hi lieser i know how much you like red hard handled, lol!! you know your not alone, rite? sad that Snappy going to discontinued there hard handles!!! thats why i bought 6 snap on hard handles, red, orange, purple!!! and no lime green, lol!!!!
@@jefftovani5535 I forgot to mention Black. I'll take black if Williams would put them on a long handle 3/8 flex head. They have the handles. It doesn't appear that Williams offers a long handle flex head 3/8 ratchet. I found the 1/4 long flex head. I had a short handled 3/8 flex head Snap-on with the black plastic handle. It was my second favorite ratchet behind "Diane", my long handled Mac flex head.
Those are great looking ratchets. The 1/2" drive is on my wish list. Great USA series, thanks Jeff
Hi mike, the price keeps going up!!! thanks for joining in!!!
That round head is one of my favorites. All of these are great ratchets and will take a beating and keep going. They may have a lot of back drag to start but with more use they smooth right out.
Thank trackstar for joining in!!!
Williams makes some great tools. 👍 So many of the Industrial brands are very affordable and a lot more durable than the Chiwanese brands. I'm hoping we'll get to see some of these other industrial brands like Proto and Wright, and maybe some of the specialty brands like Elkind, Grace, and maybe even some of the small classic companies like Chapman. Loving the made in USA series, Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Hi Roger ill have some suprises in the mix!!!stay tuned, thank you!!
Thanks Jeff. Yet another item(s) added to my wish list.
There more coming!!!!!! thanks my friend!!!
Hello again, Jeff
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I guess, I missed the troll, darned it. I have never seen one before. Before I forget, I like the collection of ratchets. Again thank you 😆
Hi george the Troll was booted out buy fellow subscribers lol!!! yea these are nice ratchets!!! thanks george!!!!
@jefftovani5535 Hello again, Jeff
I guess I am too old. I wouldn't know how to boot out a troll. Even if I would know what one looks like.
Williams ratchets are awesome. Also, the prices are very good. Really affordable. The quality is great. They are war tanks.
Hi Noel i agree %100!!!! thanks for joining in!!!
I have 2 of the round head ratchets and I love them. I need to invest in the others, thanks Jeff
Hi rob it all about having options, more so i would say with ratchets!!!! thanks rob!!!
I love Williams. Drivers (I.e. screwdriver, hex driver, socket driver ) are used a lot. They will be used to take out the junk parts, to be replaced by junk parts to get things going again. Ratchets seem to be used to break , or start a fastener. Electric has replaced air , which replaced hand. You’re right , you may want to snap these up because they might go obsolete………
Thanks marc for adding your take on it!!! stay tuned more USA tools coming!!!!
My opinion with many years under my belt its hard to beat Williams tools , temp today 110 , Thanks again Jeff
110 holy sh#t!!!! stay cool my friend!!!!!!
Jeff I have a 3/4 ratchet from snap on it was not a Williams and it's not blue point 4am I will look tomorrow I remember my dealer who is no longer with us put a 3/4 set up together saving me money 40+ year's later it still works I am sorry I missed the troll 🤦🏻♂️keep them coming please and Thank you 👍😎👍
Thanks for sharing that piemam!! stay tuned more USA tools coming!!
Thanks For the Videos Jeff , Keep them coming
Thanks my friend!!
I just got the 1/2 inch drive this last weekend at a yard sale. Great ratchet. Beefy. I wish I would have found the 1/4 and 3/8 also but no luck. Thanks
Hi joe thats a great yard sale find my friend!!! good for you!!! thanks for checking in!!!!
Very reasonable priced for USA made tools. Loving this series thank you for that
Thanks hardnose for checking in!!!
I personally don’t have a need for these. My Koken ratchets and Nut Grip sockets are my goto choices. Thank you as always Jeff for making your videos!
You got some good brands my friend!! thanks for watching!
Great video and really enjoy the channel Jeff. Nice set of rachets keep em comin
Thanks James!!!
Those are really nice! I don't like the way the black oxide feels in my hand...but that's just me.
Yea others dont like the black industrial look as well!!! it just different!!! thanks my friend for joining in!!!
I don't have one of these current William's yet, but I will definitely be going chrome.
When It comes to the black oxide " industrial " finish I have a couple PROTO's and an Armstrong and can I tell you that it will definitely rust fairly easily.
I also have a Cornwell in a black finish but it's not black oxide, I believe it's polished & blued and it does not easily rust like a black oxide finish.
Hi Tyler these ratchets are starting to climb up in price a little!! i buy them now if there one you really like!! thanks for joining in!!!
@@jefftovani5535 I just spend $260 on a fancy wood tool board for my Chapman driver set so I can't right now, but maybe I'll buy one before the month is over.
I have the 1/4" long handle flex-head, and it's one of my favourite 1/4" ratchets. I'd buy more Williams stuff if it was easier to find here in the UK.
what sells good over there?
I have the B52, and all 3 pear head drive sizes of Williams ratchets. They are excellent ratchets, I love them as much as my proto j5250xl
Thanks Tad for joining in and sharing with the channel!!
Jeff, In the 15 inch long 1/2 dr ratchet my favorite us the William's round head S-53A.
I love the round head style!! i dont own the one you have yet!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Love the channel Jeff
Thanks jason!!!!
Nice ratchets my friend.
Thanks Ksauce for checking in!!!
Wright Tools still makes some round head ratchets. I believe theyre made in the USA aswell. Theyre around $40 and up
Colt there in the series!!! stay tuned, thanks!!!
Thanks, Jeff!
Good stuff!
I feel as tough this series is very inportant!!! USA tools need to stay here!! im buying as many USA tools as i can!!! thanks my friend!!
I love Wright, and SK's new 90t USA made ratchets. I've got a couple of both in my carts on Ebay and Amazon. Williams made tools for quite a few big brand name tool companies like Kobalt, Craftsman, Napa Evercraft, and a few more. Then, all those companies started outsourcing their manufacturing to China and Taiwan. I can't imagine how much that hurt business. I didn't even know they were putting their own name on tools until a while after that happened. I always only saw the names of the companies they made the tools for.
@@shadow7796 Kobalt wasn't a company, it's just a name on tools, a house brand. It was actually a joint venture between Lowe's and the Williams group of Snap-on, and it seems the switch on Kobalt in 2003 coincided with Snap-on closing their Mt. Carmel Illinois facility which I believe is where they were making Williams tools at that time (Williams themselves had shut down in the late 80s, Snap-on bought the brand pretty much).
Thanks shadow for checking in and sharing your thoughts with the channel!!
All i can say is im going to put as many USA tools as i can afford to in this series to promote USA tools!! thank god i already own,80% already that im going to show, lol!! thanks guys!!!
I have one of the original Williams round head fine tooth ratchets and its a Great tool!
Thanks marko for sharing your opinion!!
The 36 tooth count is strong, no doubt, but the anvil will fail long before the inner gears. Thats how it is on almost all ratchets whether its a low tooth count or high tooth count. The inner gears arent the issue, its the anvil that fails 99% of the time.
Hi victor that true i myself broke a few anvils over my lifetime!!! thanks for your take on them!!
The old SK round heads are arround, and rebuild kits available for usually affordable
Hi marko i love the old round head design!!! just a overall strong design!!! thanks marko!!!
Great video jeff... i haven't got a video from you in months i had to go to your channel and see if you were still around. And yes Williams is the bomb for the price and take a beating i like the lower tooth count on the 1/2 when working with old hardware on steam hardware
Hi Mark i still make videos almost daily!!! thats you tube for ya!!! make sure to comment on last fridays video,HF tools that can take a beating,to be put in this fridays give away!!!
I’m hoping that Snap On perfects the new 100 tooth ratchets and allows Williams to sell dual 80’s.
Yea your not alone there!! thanks mike for jumping in!!!
The classic pear head Proto ratchets are a great choice for USA made tools also. I don’t think they have a flex head in that style though.
Hi chuck i have the pear head proto, but its 3/8 drive!! that will be another video!! thanks chuck for joining in!!!!
Industrial design. Williams does make nice tools. Thanks for the series.
Thanks my friend!!!
Williams ratchets are old snap on ones well worth the money
Hi Larry your rite!!! thanks for checking in!!!
I have a few of these, very cool!
Thanks my friend for checking in!!!!
Affordability and quality, the main pillars of tool choices. Thank you for these reviews.
This should be a good series!!! thanks my friend!!!
I don't have any Williams but they look good. Thanks for the review.
Thanks pete for joining in!!! stay cool, its hot here!!!!
That’s some nice ratchets a good price for USA made!! Enjoyed the video
Thanks blueboy!!!
Williams in da house my favorite i have yet to own there modern ones im too busy hunting them old vintage usa tools before they are gone but yeah Williams is damn good that design on the 36 tooth ratchets was snap ons par × brand from the 70's and yes stay away from the trolls 😆 thanks for sharing my freind
Hi Don thanks for sharing your thoughts on ratchets!!! go USA!!!
@jefftovani5535 you're welcome my friend
Great video as always
Thanks my friend!!!
The round head is my favorite of the bunch
Wow squirrel i like the round heads also!!!! thanks for checking in!!!!
I'll stick with my used USA Craftsman, they do the job and they are a lot cheaper. I have multiple styles, so I've got the needs covered. Those days are gone to buy them cheaply new, as the new imported ones aren't the same.
You know how much i love old craftsman!!!! will throw some in the USA series!!!!! thanks for joining in!!!
@@jefftovani5535 We know that the old USA Craftsman won't be part of the giveaways. LOL.
Another great video and most ratchets will benefit from a dab of super lube I still need to do that to the 1/4 drive flex head Williams I got a couple of months ago and it did need a washer but now it’s just fine
Thanks tony for joining in!!!
I like the look of the industrial design. Would go good with all my impact socket sets at work
These prices are starting to go up!! i bought these all a year ago, they were all cheaper by $8 or so!!! thanks simon!!
Williams is a good Solid American company! USA❗
Yes sir Don,you knew these would be in the series!!! thanks my friend!!
They are OK. I think their supercombo wrenches are the best thing they have. Their sockets are ok, but like snap on, they wallow in no time at all. Their ratchets are OK, but the tooth count is just too low. Their usa wrenches are the best thing they have.
You could stand on that round head Williams and not even phase it!!
I agree, rugged design,no doubt!!! thanks stefan for joining in!!!
I already have all 3 drive sizes with the long handle, thanks to your earlier recommendations! The 1/2 drive is a beast! Your right though, they are only going to get more expensive so I have been getting everything I might need right now. (Everything I can afford anyway) Lol. Have a great day sir!
Glad you like them Greyguse!!! take care!!!
I have the round head version with the 72 tooth It's very nice I wouldn't buy the other ones cuz they have such small tooth count
Hi darren thats understandable!!! not everybody likes low tooth counts!!! thanks darren!!!
Wow, nice ratchets & USA made. A win win
Hi louis those are a great buy!!!!! thanks for checking in!!!
I love made in USA tools as much as anyone, but I'm at the point in my life where i would rather have higher quality tools. I prefer less back drag and smoother action in a ratchet. If i have to go with a foreign manufacturer, so be it. Just my 2¢
Hi Mike i understand!!! these ratchets are not good in tight spots,no doubt!!! lots a techs wont touch them because of the low tooth count and backdrag!!! that being said they still have a place, strong dependable ratchet for a non resrtricted area!!! thanks mike for joining in!!!
I must've missed the troll, oh well, I stand by what I said-harbor freight has got some decent tools!
Hi seth some of his comments dissapeared, lol!! he must of got the hint!!lol!! thanks for checking in!!
Tough ratchets for sure. Great review jeff as always
Thanks shawn, stay cool its hot here!!!!
Love it!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you JP!!!!
I've never understood people who think they are superior because they only buy expensive name brands and don't take the time or effort to look for value.
Thats one reason i do the channel to show people there are good tools at good prices!! 90% of my tools are mid level tools!!! thanks my friend for joining in!!!
Facts!! It doesn't have to be name brand or be ridiculously expensive to be a quality tool. I always preach that!! There are high-end tools that don't break the bank. Hell, I've been beating on the same sunex sockets for almost 10 years!! I hate snap on fan boys. I personally think japanese tools have surpassed many US manufactured tools in quality, craftsmanship, and price. I've got $12 japanese made pliers that perform better than anything I've ever used.
Snap on ratchets are superior like it of not. Only snap on tool actually worth the price
Your a tool,fool😂@hachi-rokuperformancegroup3987
I got hurt a year ago at work and I had basically everything snap on already, and certain stuff I have found over the years. I did a lot of research but the goal was find stuff better than snap on and cheaper. I have had to go to Europe or Japan but there are some things out there I have found that save lots of time and effort over the snap on tools. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately I have bought a bunch of snap on stuff that wasn’t out 15 years ago when I got my snap on stuff too
36 tooth is strong but not usable in a tight spot.
Your rite papa but there are places its shines!! it all about options!!
I guess the troll never thought that you maybe doing well because you stayed off the tool trucks. You buy the tool that is the best value for your situation, not just based on a particular brand name. Snap-On is great, but anyone can step onto a tool truck, it sometimes takes more effort and research to find those hidden-gem better value/re-brand alternatives.
Yea the troll said i couldnt afford snap on thats why i buy HF!!!a few guys gave him a red azz and he went away, lol!!
Great topic!
Thanks Harter!!!!!
That black will rust I know from expu
Thanks Brandon for sharing that!!!
Williams makes good stuff, hopefully their ratchets will stay USA but a lot of their stuff is going to taiwan
The stuff that was gonna go Taiwan has been Taiwan for a while now, and is usually sourced from the same suppliers as used for Blue-Point.
They have domestic and foreign options for a bunch of the hard line stuff, been that way for years. Lets those who want to save a buck to do it and those who have an expectation (or sometimes, a requirement) of USA stuff to also be able to use Williams as an option.
Lets hope!! thanks for checking in!!
Options are always nice to have!!! the more the better!! thanks my friend!!!
That 1/4 flex head is $80 on Amazon.
MC use my link in the description its $31
@@jefftovani5535 10-4!
@@jefftovani5535That looks like William’s made-in-Taiwan line of ratchets, does you’re 1/4 flex ratchet say “made in usa” anywhere on the tool? Can’t tell from the video.
Hi travis its made in USA,it says it on the handle!!
@@jefftovani5535 Thanks for the link! That's a really good deal for a flex head.
👍👍👍
Harry in the house!! whats your reasturants singniture dish?
No USA stamped on the Williams? Or others?
Take a closer look. They say USA on them.
It says USA on them,I own there them, fantastic USA made ratchets!!
There USA!!
Thanks Jeff. Informative video my friend.
Thanks for taking a gander my friend!!
