I just bought one of these, my truck is Dodge Ram, 1500, 1999, it still has many details, but little by little I will restore it, this truck has given another meaning to my life. I think I love her more than my wife. 😀😃😅😂.
I picked up a very similar Truck this summer, 2001 red sport 5.9 with off road package, leather interior, sun roof and 62,000 miles. Bought it in Washington state drove it back to Minnesota, went thru glacier national park on the way back, beautiful drive. Got 12-13 mpg, it was taking oil on the trip, found out it had an intake gasket out. Fixed that, new plugs, cap, cam sensor, wires and added a vacuum reservoir so the vents would stop switching to defrost on heavy motor load. Hercule lined the underbody to protect it from MN winter, 3M paint protection down the side of the truck bottom as well. Found a matching red topper in Wisconsin that I'm fixing up for weekend camping. Have some paintless dent repairs to do in a few spots, otherwise looking good and running great. Looks very nice next to my 1996 Indyram, red, white and blue sitting in the driveway.
Impeccable, great truck . Still got mine. Only problem i got is with the passenger seat belt , seat belt do not want to work . Red seat belt light on the cluster
