    Thank you for nice tutorial. I have one question. If you have only one 90 degree bend and one side is immersed in tank w say 100 L water. Other end of the tube is connected to pump with flow rate of 5 L/min. How do I solve such problem for shear calculation ?

    Does applying flow physics on the model make the model only work on solids? Because I've made a hydrocyclone in Comsol but I only get results on the parts that I made solid? I thought it was because of the wall defined in the physics but I am not sure.

      The tube is the liquid volume

    Hi. How do you estimate shear stress at wall after solution is obtained ? I see only velocity and pressure as output. Thank you

    Sir I am simulating argon gas flow through nozzle for the turbulent case.When I use steady solution I get the results but when I choose transient I get an error that last time step is not converged plz help

    how to make turbulent?

      Go to physics->add physics->select fluid flow->single phase flow->select turbulent flow->select k-e model in turbulent flow OR go to my laminar flow video to see the process and select turbulent flow instead of laminar. Hope this helps.

      @@Ochkhuu_E you have to give some boundary conditions that will make the low turbulent, like you can use Reynolds Number and use the velocity that makes a flow turbulent for the given pipe dia
