Enjoy your moments with your wife. I lost my wife in Dec. 2021 and had the best 16 years with her. It's because of her that I have my new to me 2021 Electra Glide Limited. Before she passed she said, "Honey get your motorcycle." My bike name is Jo Jo in memory of my wife Joanne. Prayers and safe travels with your wife Tall create memories.😊👍🏽❤️
My '21 Ultra is getting a 124ci bottom up build by Kevin Baxter and will get a Baker 7 speed transmission next month along with new exhaust and legends suspension front and rear. I bought the Advanblack cvo bags hoping to set the bike up for a cross country trip I put a "Russel" day long heated seat, added the multi position passenger foot rests, 14" Handlebars, Dakota Digital gauges with a handlebar mounted digital oil pressure gauge. Updated All the lighting and added both the Advanblack saddle bag lights and custom dynamic sequential bag lights which I attached under the tour pak. Saddlebag rails and top mounted rails with lights. New six speaker sound system from "Volunteer Audio" front headlight upgrade and fairing lights. Chrome goodies and a Native baggers fat front tire kit. After several short trips, I decided to install a hitch and buy a trailer to tow behind because you just can't pack enough stuff in the tour pak and the rack on top is recommended for only 10 pounds, AND the saddle bags hold only so much. Even then it seems after sinking over $70,000 into my touring bike, it will always need something else.
You're doing better than me. Doing a X country trip too.....Boston thru Blue Ridge, Great Smoky, across Tenn. Okl, TX to Grand Canyon, Brice, Zion, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Beartooth Hwy, Sturgis, Deadwood, Custer, Badlands and back. BUT.....my wife said No way, have fun, as did the other guys. Look for you on the road. Thanks for the Videos
Praying for safe travel out an back an i no you told her to get ready for the weather that might be the worst part of you guys journey. As always be safe an enjoy oh ya you no shes gonna want her own RG after this trip
Can't wait to see the next video. When I bought my street glide I put floor boards on and took the passenger pegs off and used the pegs for highway pegs.
next time you take your seat on or off with the tour pack on try opening the tour pack before you do your seat makes life easier and you wont poke a hole in her back rest and the seat screw is easier to get to
Nice to see you're taking the wife along. Mine does many happy miles with me. We have a 2020 CVO Ultra. I find that if we stop every hour, even for a few minutes for us both to stretch a bit, she's much happier. Invest in good gear for her, like the Klim Latitude Jacket / Pants. Keeping her warm and dry make for a happy experience. Happy wife, happy life. Enjoy 🙂
Yep!!!! Im now sold between you and my man from Louisiana i think G hes a teacher? Anywho the road glide is my choice. Now that i see you can add these seats to make it look like the ultra but also look street..yes road glide may be the choice? Or the street glide? G says road glide and i think thats my choice! Ill be going tomorrow..i cant wait!!!
Praying for you Tall! 😊 The bike looks awesome with all the creature comforts you added for your wife to be comfortable on the cross country two up ride. It's going to be interesting for sure being that she's the planner type and you the go with the flow type. Hopefully she's ready for all the extreme changes in weather you're going to encounter along the way. Ride safe ride often and keep motovlogging!! Glen
Nice additions. I actually set our bike up for two up riding when I buy a new one. On our previous, and current bikes I run the CVO touring seat. The one that came stock on RGs for several years. For a OEM seat it is very comfortable. I’m 6-02, the wife is 5ft zero. I like the firmness of it, and it lets me sit in the bike, not on it. We have the same adjustable passenger mounts. We can change the position of them quickly and keeps her more comfortable on longs runs. We don’t run a tour pack on this RG though. We have a large leather bag, unknown make, that we have used since the mid nineties on the bikes. We can get more in it, than in a tour pak. Have fun. Be safe. It will be tough from time to time, but you both will enjoy the road.
Tall I think it looks great with the tour pak ,your wife is going to enjoy the comfort and I think you will also, change is hard especially when you begin doing it so long by yourself, you will be ok, I think you might like it, when you get back get the razor pak it will look really sharp with the stretched bags be safe and enjoy and be Blessed
Praying for you! You’ll end up doing things and making stops you wouldn’t normally do. You’re just going to have to accommodate her the best you can. Hopefully you have a com system so you can talk and listen to music. My wife gets easily bored on a long ride. I remember while riding the entire Natchez Trace Parkway, she got quiet and I said, “Isn’t this an awesome ride”? She said, “Once you’ve seen the first 10,000 trees, you’ve seen them all.” So, she started reading books while riding. She puts the book on my shoulders and she’ll read all day long. Perfect…..she’s not bored and I can enjoy my ride.
Excellent much needed upgrades for the trip You and Your Wife are doing! For me the toughest part of cross country trip on a motorcycle is dealing with the weather.
You might have 1 or 2 more things to do ? First off, you might need the rear extender kit that moves your tour pack back 1 to 2 inches. Kuryakyn & Rivco makes them. Got the Rivco kit for my Indian Roadmaster, because my wife ( to put it delicately) is of larger stature. (Wide or Tall) You might be surprised how much difference that extra inch or 2 makes. Taller Klock Werks windshield for sure. Some other things, but I'll wait to see what else you're going to do. I'll keep watching.....
I’m looking forward to seeing the video of you and your wife on the road. God be with the both of you and may angels place a hedge of protection all around you.
I have the exact same seat and back rest. Love it. Only complaint is the back rest sits too far in the passenger seat. Wife really didn’t have much thigh room with it installed. But I just use her as a back rest 😂 problem fix
Better get a big comfortable back seat before performance just saying and packing for a bike trip good luck lol , y'all be safe I'll be watching for the videos
I was thinking about that before I bought my Goldwing know she just might want to ride. I didn't want to go through ALL the changes that you are going through now, and I have been riding comfortable from the beginning, and if she wanted to ride it was there. The bike looks nice after the change.
Tall Tall that's it that's it Bro that Road Glide looks even better now I see how I'm going to do my Road Glide when I purchase one, Bro you may not like it but that's you all the way
For long trips I run the HD Tall Boy seat on my Street Glide ST. It gives me a bit more room to stretch out. The pillion pad on it is nice and wide to for passenger comfort too.
It’s a whole different ride when you have a navigator on board. No matter how much storage space you have it will never be enough for a woman. It would be easier to have one of the family members riding a chase vehicle and storing all the wife’s stuff. Good luck on the trip.
Sitting here watching this with the wife. She is giving me a list of things from the womans point of view. She says to tell your wife to pack and wear compression leggings or spanks or something like that under jeans to prevents inner thighs from sore and chaffing. Our first trip out west my wife didn't have any and she definitely got saddle sore. Also she recommends the battery tender usb charger that plugs into your trickle charger cord. Use vacuum clothing bags to pack in. She says she gonna need a drink holder or something of the like, we both carry a thermos style drink holder in the saddle bag. Y'all travel safe!
Can’t wait to see you guys just take for a up the street around the corner test run just to see how it handles and hear both you guys perspective on riding 2 up. Prayers are coming you guys way !!
The way you 2 plan sounds just like us! 😂 Can’t wait for the review on the seat, especially what Tonya thinks! We have that “couch” thing & on our 5th seat lol Safe 2up travels!!!
Maybe, it would be good to recognize sooner rather than later, that your Wife is The Show, and you are just The Chauffeur. 😂 There is no such thing as “Winning an argument” with your wife when you are together on a motorcycle for days and days. That said, I hope you two have a wonderful trip!
Hey Tall - how’s the seat working for you? I’m 6’6” as well and looking for more leg room. Wish I could demo that DLL Tall seat somehow before dropping nearly 1k. Thanks!
Do the stretched saddle bags really add that much more storage? They're really just for looks. The Ultras have standard bags plus the tour pack and that's sufficient for 2 up riding.
The funny part is that he’s still concerned about how the bike looks. Like his wife will say I’m sick of riding but the bike looks so good so let’s do another 500 miles today
Tall for someone 6ft2 would you reccomend a long legs kickflip or a standard I cant test either and most stores dont accept returns so im quite torn what to order
Well you you wanted a cruiser so why you need to launch so much and long bags only has extra room for a couple tee shirts lol but they look good I would keep them on all the time
Happy wife, happy life. Make the changes to ensure your wife is safe and comfortable. Wives always worried about money, she wants to ensure you all get value for the money spent. Make her happy.

Welcome back T, good luck on your trip and be safe
You need the Ciro3d cupholder for the passenger but on the right or left side of her armrest back there. She’ll love you for it.😎🤔🙏
You're doing better than me. Doing a X country trip too.....Boston thru Blue Ridge, Great Smoky, across Tenn. Good luck, my wife is the same way. I made my 03 RKC for riding two up. That did not last long now it's set up for solo riding.
That king tourpack is the truth! I dont even take it off anymore. I sure hope you guys have a great time and ride safe big brother!
Y’all have a safe trip God bless y’all love your videos
Praying for safe travel out an back an i no you told her to get ready for the weather that might be the worst part of you guys journey. As always be safe an enjoy oh ya you no shes gonna want her own RG after this trip

😂 God bless you both. Memories for a life time!
Looking good Tall. I wish you and your wife the best on your trip.
Extra lights at the back too.😊
next time you take your seat on or off with the tour pack on try opening the tour pack before you do your seat makes life easier and you wont poke a hole in her back rest and the seat screw is easier to get to
I feel your pain and joy. Had to do the same with my SGS, as my wife likes to go on trips with me
Tall, The Other Bike looks awesome and ready for the road you have created beast, hopefully I will see you somewhere on the west coast. Be safe.🔥🔥✌🏽✌🏽
Praying for safe travels and a safe return. The bike looks good 👍🏾

prayers for you that you both and the relationship survives the adventure!!
Praying for you brother. I’m all about spending time with the wife, but when I do my cross country trip I’ll meet her in Vegas to ride to California.
Brother! It’s going to be a good journey!
She definitely look clean!!!! I miss my black RGS…nice video bro..
Looks like you're ready for the road now. I love the look Congratulations.
I wish you safe travels. You’re a better man than me. Ain’t no way.

Looks great Tall! Where did you get that stand on wheels? Thanks in advance.
Excellent much needed upgrades for the trip You and Your Wife are doing! For me the toughest part of cross country trip on a motorcycle is dealing with the weather.
I did most of that to my 2017 Streetglide Special, and then my wife got her own bike!!
Very nice different look for the bike.
I absolutely love TCMT products.

Back rest screw can be a safety issue.
La Pera makes great seats.... looks great.
I am sure that my wife and your wife are long lost twin sisters following your description 😂
Tall for someone 6ft2 would you reccomend a long legs kickflip or a standard
I cant test either and most stores dont accept returns so im quite torn what to order
In every relationship there is one who worries about everything and then there’s the other who just flies by the seat of their pants
What brand are the lowers on your bike? and where can I order from?
now a taller windscreen 😂😂Nice Road Glide Ultra lol
Well you you wanted a cruiser so why you need to launch so much and long bags only has extra room for a couple tee shirts lol but they look good I would keep them on all the time
Trailer for extra gear, it's a trick on entrance driveway, but gw riders do it
What motorcycle lift/stand is that you have?
All I have to say is God bless
Dude you need that big pillow back there.
Just starting the vid, i dont believe it currently. Lets see how this plays out

Right on your wife is willing to do what you want to do you better make it nice
I would get DJ to loan you two a loaded tri glide to take .
Happy wife, happy life. Make the changes to ensure your wife is safe and comfortable. Wives always worried about money, she wants to ensure you all get value for the money spent. Make her happy.

Sounds familiar😮
What’s the name of the wheels ?

Pretty much a Limited now huh? 🤔
Should of got limited and stripped it down lot cheaper
What tour pack brand is that pack

You might as well pre-book your marriage counseling meeting for when you get back. Good luck lol
Get her an Airhawk pad ...for just a bit more comfort
