    Literally first thing I did got the K5prog from the Quansheng home page, backed up config and calibration and used for loading egzumer it works very well

    Considering making the backup from the factory firmware so we can play with the new ones, which is your current favorite mod firmware to install?

    Why would I ever need to backup my radio? Oh no, I might lose the 2 channels people ever talk on.

      No it's nothing to do with that , your radio has many configurations set in the factory.

      Yep, and I haven't made any substantial changes to the factory settings. So why should I care about some default worker from China?

      @@HamTechRadioScannerDrones You know, now that's I'm drunk your argument makes even less sense. The only radio I have that might need to worry about backup calibration or other low-level data is the hacked Quansheng. And does the IJV firmware actually mess with that?
