The more important problem is that your decking is hitting the framing for some reason. Sometimes, vendors will put padding in between the decking and frame supports to prevent this. You could try to get away with sewing it, or cutting a large piece big enough to cover the damaged area and using spray adhesive to attach it.
@@Shawnbfromsd if there is nothing preventing the contact, unfortunately, not the easiest of tasks. Requires removing ALL of the staples, adding padding and then reattaching the decking nice and tight. But a quick fix would finding some similar material, cutting it nice and straight, and using fabric adhesive to cover the torn area. Feel free to send pictures of it and I can see what we’re dealing with, thanks the323concept@yahoo.com
@@Shawnbfromsd I either misunderstood your issue or I’m not explaining my solution well to your problem. Feel free to email me pictures of it so I can help you more accurately
I used to see that quite frequently at my old job. They’d use OSB for the front rail and they’d just snap in half. Sometimes, you’d be able to tip it over, put enough pressure on the broken board to straighten it out and install a board behind it stating the crack. That usually would work. Other alternative is replacing that whole Board
How to fix... throw this one out and buy something built with real wood. No matter how much you fix it will keep on breaking in no time flat. Modern seating is JUNK. Just saying.....
Haha…modern furniture is definitely not very good quality, but people are still limited to purchase what they can afford and need to know how to fix items when they break. thanks for watching
SO glad I found this BEFORE angrily stacking my sofa decking from above! Thank you so much for posting this!
Thanks for watching! Glad it helped you!
My decking has a major tear along the support. Is there a quick way to fix it?

@@the323vlog4 would simple fabric adhesive really bear 2 people's weight sitting on it?

How much would something like this cost?
Honey0158 I’d say in the range of $250-$400. Probably depends on your location as well.
That song was awesome...
This is how to build a couch not fix a couch
