I'm really happy this is Shockwave's alt mode and I hate the spider tank alt mode, but the thought of his Cyberverse or Earthspark alt mode running at high speeds is funny to me.
Don't bother with it, it's cheap shovelware using recycled assets. Shockwave's alt-mode, for instance, is lifted straight from the old "Fall of Cybertron" game.
I don't think the game is awful. It's not great and has a lot of annoying issues, but still dumb fun for a while. Or maybe that's just me being starved of half-decent games for the past 9 years.
If you try to select him, a window will pop up telling you the unlock requirements. Off the top of my head, I think it's killing drones, winning an expert race with Soundwave, and completing a bunch of races in at least third place.
Transformers games are seriously getting bad and we're not getting a good game until reactivate the games are getting worse than rise of the dark spark
Don't hold your breath for Reactivate. RotDS just needed a proper Multiplayer mode. And an escalation mode with doors. (Poor level scalling when they removed them.)

Nope. All of the recent Transformers games have been a lot more casual and I think it's unfortunately gonna stay that way for a while.
