- We test the CSF Intercooler for the Porsche 911 Carrera. This fits all Carreras including the base, T, S and GTS. We observed some noticeable reduction to IATs. On the dyno, power only increased 0.5whp but to be expected without changing tuning.

Now we are getting into the good stuff.. I really like this engine and think it could live happy close to 600 hp on 91
Turbos will be next!
Great video 👍
Short pulls won’t really verify improved heat transfer as the difference in the specific heat capacity (thermal mass) could be the reason for differing IATs. A tracks test is really required to determine how much better this intercooler performs.
I'm using a interchiller that uses my AC system to chill a tank of fluid and that runs in a closed system that has no access to outside air. I usually see 30 degrees lower than outside temps, but it's for a LSA supercharger. Would be awesome if someone made the brick for a water to air cooler system. I show90 degrees when it's 102 outside after I have sent 14psi through the LSA.
What wheels and fitment is on the car in this video??? It looks perfect! Also is the fitment the same on a 991.2?
These are BC Forged RZ05 wheels, the offsets are pretty much customizable, built to order/spec. Feel free to reach out to us at info@flat6motorsports.com for more info
About how long to install the intercooler and 1-5 wrench rating please for a shade tree mechanic? 😂
It takes roughly 3-4 hours. You will need to remove the rear bumper, lights, wing assembly and then it's all right there. Shaving the OEM practice shrouds takes a little bit of time. Nothing complicated, just some time consuming tasks around the install. The unit drops in and fits like a glove, very well made part.
@@Flat6Motorsports thought the shaving was only 991 variants and that the 992 was direct drop in?
@@TheSgt93 you just have to trim down the lower shrouds (exit side).
