Met z'n tweeën, en met een transportbedrijf, en een zandstraalservice.
Het is bijna zeker dat er nog meer externe bedrijven hieraan mee gaan doen. Ik kan me voorstellen dat als ze nog iets gaan verzinken, spuiten(verven) dat ze iemand inschakelen. Vervolgens heb je de technische kant, de motor, versnellingsbak, etc. het monteren daarvan kunnen ze nog zelf, maar als ze iets als een motor of overbrenging willen herstellen dan zullen ze wel een revisiebedrijf inschakelen.

@Colin Sinke Het zal zeker niet goedkoop zijn. Mits het iets met sponsoring word of reclame en dan goedkoper.
Maar zoiets zit met 3 man wel even wat uurtjes werk in. Denk dat je met 3 a 4 man aan een stuk door ongeveer wel 12 uur bezig bent. Afhankelijk van de straalapparatuur en de omstandigheden in de cabine.
Het wordt gedaan door een bedrijf dat ook veel actief is in de scheepvaart, aan materiaal zullen ze dus waarschijnlijk geen gebrek hebben

Diesel loved to play fetch with wood, those were his toys.
Even though diesel is gone than he watches you from the skys and at night you can see one little beautiful star wich is diesel looking at you and im sure he Will be Proud of you when you are done with the tank

De T54 is 35-36 ton, deze chinese variant moet evenveel wegen.
En dat is het gewicht met een volle bak brandstof en munitie; oftewel klaar om te knallen. Zo een lege carrosserie zal een stuk minder wegen, ik gok niet meer dan 20 ton.
Russische tanks zijn over het algemeen best licht voor vergeleken men tanks uit andere landen met de zelfde mate van bescherming en bewapening.
He Milo, hoe zit het met de vergunning voor het "kanon" en koepel van de tank? Ben je daar al mee opgeschoten?

@@frenchtoad1308 Excactly - when I started working on cars/restoring them I had to take alot of pictures, write things down, sometimes even Video it. But I as you gain experience you gain confidence and a confident mind is capable of the greatest tasks! Still do alot of mistakes though :(

12:38 That is not a ricochet. It's a surface defect that occurs during rolling of the metall sheet. It's called shell.
Some of the protection before blasting is either overkill or insufficient. I'm using self made siphon type sand blaster from time to time with car stuff - when I let it go @ 8 bar, it's very unpleasant for unprotected body parts, but it can't damage any thread, just clean it. On the other hand, the blaster will destroy duct tape rather easily. If that tank is going to shot blasting, that could probably damage threads, but that kind of blasting will eliminate all duct tape...

Zoveel werk om alles af te schermen... Lasercleaning zou stuk handiger geweest zijn, veel minder prepwerk, beschadigt de torsieveren niet etc...
Eindelijk naar de kapper geweest? :D Onwijs mooi om het project te mogen volgen, ben nu al heel benieuwd naar het resultaat van het stralen!
