Wel, klaarblyklik is daar ñ paar van ons Afrikaanssprekendes wat hier Hollands probeer volg.
De grote grap van dit project is dat Milo straks een werkende tank heeft en de Nederlandse landmacht heeft er geen.

@@sjorsvdputten1726 Sure. Die classificatie klopt. Maar tank is ook een generieke term die (misschien meer in het Engels) ook gebruikt wordt voor voor voertuigen die geen main battle tank zijn. Bovendien is het een glijdende schaal. Is de Merkava ook een pantserinfanterie voertuig?

They are getting the cannon disabled by a third party, that way they can place it back on the tank. Otherwise it would be illegal in the Netherlands.
IT wil be disarmed at a locatie that jas a permit tot have a turret and when iets disarmed it wil be put back in the tank . I belive 🤣🤣 correct me if i am wrong
In the early tank restoration video milo said they will set some paper for the turret and it need to be disarmed
They will start restoring it when the tank is working because they do not have a lot of room right now

Allereerst grote complementen aan Bas, ze video zit zeer strak in elkaar. De muziek is goed en de camerapositie nog beter. Echt top. En verder voor Emile en Dirk goed bezig mannen het schiet al goed op. De tank ziet er al gaaf uit. Top mannen ga zo door en de groetjes uit Lichtenvoorde.

Great work there Milo, and don't piss off with the paint, all will crack if you bend them, no matter how good they are. You can always touch up those spots when they are ready, no worries, take it easy pal!
He bent them into shape before he painted them but the yellow paint wasn't dry after a week.

Voor de boutjes, je kan links draaiende boortjes kopen en een anti-seize gebruiken. Dan kan je de afgebroken boutjes er terug uit draaien, in de meeste gevallen.
Like als je ook de ondertiteling aan hebt gezet om bas een beetje te steunen

By any chance, was the humidity high when you used the yellow paint? Some paints will never dry if there was too much moisture in the air when they were applied.
Wauw wat een geweldig project
The yellow paint might be the sort that needs baking in an oven to cure it if it's not drying, but, bit late for that now, and the chipped paint just gives it character anyway, after all, no in-service tank ever looks shiny and perfect I'm sure... :P
But some places don't have paint and it could start to rust there.
they want it to look like almost new, besides that they kinda have to, because the dutch weather is very humid and wet.
much like the english weather, and look how much that did to it.
LOVE the "totally not-sketchy" method of bombing those tanks in--gotta work with what ye got, right? Thanks SO MUCH to the folks doing the subs so folks such as myself who can't speak a lick of Dutch can enjoy this great channel, and thanks so much to Milo for making cool videos!

Top video. Jammer dat we op het hoofdkanaal alleen +/- 10min film krijgen en op werkplaatsvlog iedere dag >15min wordt getoond. Hier kan toch langer gepost worden @mastermilo! 1x in de week minimaal 15min en meer uitleg zou cool zijn

Ik volg het al de hele tijd. Met de nieuwe video editing is het enerzijds professioneler, maar het chille lome is er helaas wel uit. Iets te heftige cuts, muziek te hard vaak en te heftig. Snap dat je tanks associeert met rockende gitaren maar dat luister ik liever los.

If people don’t know, the holes in the fuel tank is for the ammo to be stored in. But ammo is stored every in Soviet era tanks
Great Video Guys, working on old rusty & Dusty tanks is a real pain in the A$$. What town are you located near? I spent time in an a US Army Detachment that worked with the Dutch Army in Steenwijk back in the early 1990's. Had a lot of friends in Meppel.

I'm looking forward to getting English subtitles on the werkplaatsvlogs, at least so far I've been forced to learn a little Dutch.
We have already put English subtitles into many of MasterMilo's videos. And learning a little Dutch can be useful. You never know...

The wet ammo storage tanks aren’t really fir fuel and you probably don’t need them unless you’re going into combat. Still nice to see you’re not skipping any steps.
It’s a hell of a birthday present to see this tank move further along towards operation

Vandaag eens een keer dit kanaal gekeken..... man man man......blij dat er op het werkplaatsvlog kanaal niet van die irritante muziek onder de beelden gemonteerd wordt. verder prachtig project!
Ga vooral door (zonder muziek).
Jongens pas op met slijpen, schuren en verspanen van de geverfde metalen delen. De kans is groot dat er Chroom VI verf is gebruikt. Er zijn eenvoudige testen verkrijgbaar met een wattenstaafje + vloeistof om dit te testen.
Gaat lekker hoor volg het al zins het begin. Mooi om te zien dat jullie zo ver zijn.
I know this video is old now, but you guys really need a bench wire wheel to help with rust removal on small stuff like pipes. So much easier on the arms! :D
Leuk om de verbetering in het kanaal te zien, de video kwaliteit is echt omhoog gegaan, de inhoud is natuurlijk net zoals altijd geweest super! Zal voor jullie ook fijn zijn om je lekker te kunnen focussen op bouwen
So are those fuel tanks new or also restorated?
Tip voor het oplassen van een moer, als je weer eens een gebroken bout hebt. las er eerst een platte ring op! Ring is niet zo diep, en daarom vaak makkelijker goed vast te lassen, vervolgens een moer op de ring lassen en je hebt een grotere kans dat ie toch nog los komt. (al weet ik niet of dat dit keer ook gelukt was met zo'n klein boutje) ;) Succes verder, we blijven kijken!
Die brandstoftank waar minutie in opgeslagen wordt, blijft me toch verbazen.
