Well done. Two years is your timeline. Nothing wrong with that. Just keep in mind that you'll grow and get better (be more comfortable) with a variety of situations with more exposure to them but it has to be on your terms. Classes help and pushing yourself as much as you feel that you can makes you better. Good on you for doing that. For day to day riding, I suggest a book about that very topic called "Proficient Motorcycling: The Ultimate Guide to Riding Well" by David L. Hough. I'm not connected to this product in any way but it did help me with some tactics, theories, and explanations of daily riding techniques . It's not a "how to" (clutch, friction zone, etc) but a "how to" ride daily on the streets. Again, well done and have fun.

Being a little nervous (as opposed to scared) is actually not a bad thing. It shows you're not complacent, which to a rider is a dangerous way of thinking.

Good job. Roll up to the stop in neutral, then put your bike in gear just before your light turns green.
Saves wear on clutch parts.
LOL never heard such bad advice in my life!
Those clutches are bathed in oil and will last 60,000 miles with even hours and hours of riding in the friction zone. I always gear down and kick in first gear in the last few feet and leave it in first so I am ready to move fast in an emergency.

@@denniseaton8136 How about a truck coming up fast behind you while you are stopped and this truck is going to ram you , unless you take off in a split second and if gear is in neutral then its too late. (Not sure how often that happens)
this year is my first season... had a lot of firsts but honestly I don't really want to go on highway, it feels kinda boring. Other thing is that my ride is naked bike so it will be windy AF
When you feel more comfortable. I think you should do a cross country ride
