Google and others still consider The Bear a drama and I agree....we need more comedy series and you do not accomplish that by re-classifying a drama as a comedy

I love the show, but I don’t feel it is a comedy. It’s not a funny laugh out loud type of show. I don’t think it would win if it was in the drama section with succession and others. Which kills the chances of actual comedies. And this is coming from someone who actually loves the show.

@@BranchDavidian- Right, and that's the point people are trying to make: that they classified it as a comedy to have a better chance at winning. Sort of cheating, seriously. Maybe they need to better define the categories, or name the categories differently. Most dramas have some funny or ironic moments; that doesn't make them comedies.
