Had my 60's Historic Hummingbird from the CS delivered not that long ago and I totally adore it. Despite Cov-19 lock down, I can't leave it alone. What you are making right now is everything we wanted, keep it up Gibson!
Ive had a Southern Jumbo Slope Shoulder for almost 20 years now and I absolutely LOVE it !...I want to get a Dove and an SJ-200 when possible...THANK YOU GIBSON !
There aren't many of these that I wouldn't kill for (as a matter of speech off course). The black 60's J-45 is sooooo beautiful. And I've always had a weak spot for the Dove. The only guitar I miss is an all black J-200. ❤️❤️❤️
In 15 or 16 years of playing I never bought a Gibson. Or an eppiphone. however if I had the chance to buy a new dove with a tune-o-matic bridge like the original. I would.
I concur. Give me the tune-o-matic bridge as well. I love them. And it’s the originality that counts. Folks got turned off by these saying they dulled the tone. I know how to set intonation and to me these were the best bridge idea Gibson ever put out, especially on the dove!
For me what made a dove a 🕊 was the tune o matic bridge. So I could set the intonation easily. Please listen to me and make some with that option again. Please...
Thank god for the Epiphone line, or MOST people wouldn’t have these type of instruments. A Gibson Dove is $4,200, where as an Epiphone Dove is $369. I think I’ll get the Epiphone, and buy a Les Paul with the difference!!!
Epiphone is a heritage company, one of the oldest and best. Be proud of it, all of the people working at Gibson would say the same. They have a long history together and if you don't know it, you should certainly look it up. My Epiphone Trib+ 60's Electric is one of my favourite playing guitars and I have ..um too many others, Gibson Standards/Customs and otherwise. Definitely that frown should be the other way up :D
@@jarcidiacono1 I have a squire tele, cheapest one they make, that mint green one they're selling now. It's the one with string through body. Retails for 180.00, but I got it on sale for 130.00. Indonesian Made. It feels and plays beautifully. Yes, it could use new pickups, and whatever hardware you chose, but I swear thar neck feels so good. I had a 1000.00 tele for a little while. This Squire plays as good; i prefer it actually. I like the neck better. The only thing I did was take a foam sander, and lightly smooth the fret ends. They were ok off the shelf, but it was an easy improvement, that even I could do. The overall balance of a telecaster...It's the perfect design...For me anyway. All my life, I detested teles. I thought they looked ugly. Now I think they look great. A black Les Paul, certainly looks way cooler, but it doesn't feel good to hold, like a tele. The tele feels like a machine gun, it does. It feels like a weapon. It's all business. Anyway, you may have to try a few, to get one with the right feel, but most i tried were good. They're better than the Mexi Teles i tried back in like 2005 when i was guitar hunting. So You're right, some guitars today, are excellent, and very affordable. This Bullet, ( no pun intended in light of the gun analogy) is a perfect guitar to mod...I'm too dumb mechanically to mod it, It's just not my thing, but if you like doing that, this thing would be a great base to build on . not exaggerating on how good this guitar feels and plays. I wouldn't even want an expensive tele now. I'd rather mod this. I'm an acoustic player so, I'm not screwing with it, but I should. It could use better pickups, but for cheap pickups, they sound better than muddy cheap hum buckers.
Talk, talk, talk about guitars for 13 minutes and holding them also - but NOT playing a single note!.And some guitar-ish Muzak in the background. Almost absurd. Why this strange concept Gibson?
Nobody makes a better acoustic guitar than Gibson. They're the gold standard of acoustic guitars.

Nice. I have a Hummingbird and a Songwriter and I'm a lefty too. I would never had dreamed I would ever own guitars like these. Thanks!

I've got a g45 studio and love it thank you Gibson !! I've always wanted a Gibson acoustic and now I have one!!
The cherry dove is stunning!!! The studio rosewood models are a great addition
I’ve got a 1944 LG-2. I would love to play one of these original collection to see how it compares!
Nice guitars! Would love to see Gibson release some more 12 string models in their modern collection.
I love my Gibsons, especially my 04 Standard
My modern J45 is a lovely instrument, thanks for making my Lovely Lefty!
Sounds great... it would be nice to see a re-release of the Everly Brothers signature model J-180...Such an Iconic Acoustic.
InstaBlaster...
Beautiful. Great job.
Wow just what a guitar beauty, it sounds really good

I see no heart or comment to let me know that Gibson Isn’t listening. 😕 damn...

I would love that 60's J-45, but is it possible to remove that white pickguard? cheers
Can you get a dove with an inch and 5/8 nut width Performing Artist taper and an electric pick up and stalled ?
The Draco Rosas’s Signature
For me what made a dove a 🕊 was the tune o matic bridge. So I could set the intonation easily. Please listen to me and make some with that option again. Please...
Wish you would have played them
Gotta do an Original Series J160E........ please?
How about Archtops????? Gibson was the king of Archtops. Bring them Back !!!!!!!
Why no florentine cutaway ?

Then you can leave a comment on the epiphone videos
i have an Epiphone :(
Kevin Q - that’s nothing to frown on. Play on friend. 🙂

Lefties?
Nearly 12 minutes long and this video doesn't have any playing demos.
I can`t pinpont his accent
Buenos Aires
Overprice crap. They’re living off their history...History, not now.
lies they're making better guitars than they have in 40 years

First. Yeah, big deal.
First is the worst second is the best.
