Last year's Ramen challenge compared to this year's is night and day. You've got so creative and gained a whole new set of skills over the past year. Very impressive
As an Indian, those tortillas straight up look like roti or how some people would say it as chapati! Wasn't expecting this, gr8 job combining different foods! (and cultural looking dishes!) LOL! LYSM Lisa!!! Edit: NGL I have never got this many likes or replies on any post I've made so tysm y'all for this!
Lisa! I don’t know if you’ll read this but here’s a ramen recipe suggestion: my mom regularly makes samosas stuffed with fried noodles (mi goreng to be specific) and they taste heavenly. Super greasy and definitely a treat but I know you’re not opposed to that. Give it a go!
Lisa for day 17 you should try wai wai noddle with eggs : 1. add oil to a non stick pan 2. crush up the noddle with your hand 3. Put the heat medium heat 4. add the crush up noddle in the pan without the seasoning packet 5. put the heat on low 6. add 1 cup of water ten put the heat on high 7. after the water is almost develop in the noddle add two or three eggs and mix 8. after the eggs is cooked add the seasoning packed
OMG I haven’t had those Wai Wai noodles since middle school. I can still taste the peppery seasoning in my mouth to this day. I gotta go pick some up now from H Mart. Those ramen tortillas look delicious Lisa! Glad you took the other commenter’s suggestion.
I have been inspired to try the ramen challenge. My favourite so far has been the tailgate ramen. 🍜🍜 Thank you for sharing. I appreciate you and the content you create. 😊

Hi Lisa! That aldready looked so good but here’s my suggestion: My mom and me are obsessed with momos and she usually sometimes makes them home but the point is instead of the stuffing inside of momos try putting those ramen in them like ramen momo’s o-o Or you could try it the Indian way: Make ramen samosas they would taste absolutely Delicious!
as a thai never in my life would imagine waiwai noodles to be made into such a creative dish! its the only instant noodle i have never really cooked, i only have them raw (i crushed them first then pour the seasoning on it). it makes a great snack!
My first thought when she flipped the first tortilla over. " That's a roti" Lmao for all those confused In Paksitan we eat this almost everyday with different Curry's. It's also known as chapati.
HEY LISA! Just wanted you're really cool and ive gotten more into cooking because of you and im really enjoying it and also i would recommend trying some pakistani foods like nihari, or chiken pulao (if u dont know any pakistani people indian people can help) they're really tasty and they have a good kick which im sure you'll like!
Hey lisa please read this wai wai is a Nepali noodle so it can be eaten raw try this recipe with it ÷ Crack noodle and put tomato, onion, coriander, cucumber, tastemaker ( don't put all) , pepper, pinch of pink salt, for spicyness you can add hot sauce and lastly lemon and mix it all done.
I love this, reminds me of how I need to get creative when clearing out my pantry lol Also, how does your nailpolish grow out so perfectly without chipping 😍
Lisa you can try wai wai mixer 1. Crumble the waiwai 2.cabbage 3.tomato 4. Bell peppers And you can any vegetable you like with the dry crumble waiwai along with some lemon juice and the waiwai seasoning and mixed together
I know im super late, but: for rolling out doughs thinly (like for tortillas, homemade ravioli, etc) -- I highly recommend VERY lightly flouring your rolling surface, but more heavily flouring your rolling pin. This will cause the dough to anchor to the rolling surface a bit (but still be able to be peeled off without breaking), instead of sticking to your rolling pin like yours did. You can much more easily roll out the dough as thin as needed in this manner.
Trust me desi mom's make best tortilla round and puffed up 😆when I first started to make tortilla it came as yours but with practice now I can make pretty good btw good job lisa 👍
To anyone reading this, i have one ramen /noodle recipe. 1. Minced onions, garlic and tomatoes and fry them with oil and butter. 2. Add soy sauce in the mix with red chilli powder, salt, sugar or any seasoning you have that you think will go together. I also like to add ketchup. 3. Cook the noodles (i usually use Maggi chicken) in another pot and add the seasoning. 4. Add the noodles into the mix and swirl it to mix everything evenly It taste really great 😉👍👌
That's sooo great! I don't see much videos on people making Wai Wai.. It would be great if you make some ramen or anything with Wai Wai in some videos :))) I'm waiting
Hey Lisa ..... make ramen in my style 1. Fry onion and chili in oil ( white or Olive oil) fry for few minutes 2. Add tomato, carrots, jalapeno, which are cut in dice 3. Add chili powder, salt and every hot sauce you have 4. Add the ramen sessioning and add water to boil the ramen until it is cooked add you ramen topping if you want to eat it soupy eat soupy if you want to eat dry eat dry your choice Enjoy......👍👍👍
Hey Lisa You should try ramen fryrice it's so simple to make 1. Take a cup noodle ramen (it will be good if you use shin ramen) 2. Heat it up the ramen with come oil until crispy then you can add your rice and the packet Spicy's and cook it until you think is done (does that even make sense anyways) 3. Then up some sesame seeds and sesame oil at the bottom of the cup and put the rice back in...then enjoy (hope you like it) I now you will not read this but anyways!! I love your videos!!!
Next time if there is a next time, you can roll out the tortilla using Wax paper, With the tortilla dough in-between the Wax paper, this way you use less flour, or you can use a gallon zipper bag, carefully cut off the zipper section and cut the sides. Put a wet towel on the counter to anchor and the zipper bag filled with dough and a smidge of flour on top and roll. Thanks for sharing
Lisa the noddles u are using are famous in India and you can eat it without boiling by crushing the noddles (not till it becomes dust) we usually mix it with onion tomato some spices and that's all
I'm so glad it worked out for you Lisa! May I suggest cooking the noodles in some leftovers? Add some saucy type leftover (I like japanese curry and chili) to a pot with some water and bring to a boil. Add dry ramen and seasoning, and let the noodles soften. Once they start separating, add an egg, or more depending on how many people you're cooking for. Let the egg cook until the whites over the yolk are opaque. Cover with cheese and let that melt. Transfer mess into a bowl and you're done! Ideally, the egg yolk should be runny, but if you don't like runny yolks, then you can cook it longer.
I don’t know if anyone has already said this, but the breading will stay on the shrimp a lot better if you soak the shrimp in a seasoned milk/egg mix, dip them in flour, dip them back in the milk/egg mix, then put them in the breading
Today has been a really tough day for me and I starting watching this video then I needed to go do something and I came back to my phone and the video wouldn’t play I cried for 5 minutes then it loaded. Watching this video, highlight of my day thanks Lisa
