Lovely! It is so nice to get to listen to your conversation, as you are very good at making your guests feel at ease and relaxed. Very rare to see in the age of fakery and like-hunting. Keep doing what you're doing Chris.
I really enjoyed reading David Allen's book quite some years ago, and when I find it again I look forward to a refresher! (I think I saw it not long ago in a book pile...!). The comment about what entails "done" and when does "done" occur resonated with me and immediately brought to mind the choosing of my doctoral dissertation topic. It was a fairly long and winding road to discern the best choice that was also an exciting and interesting topic. Once that decision was made, it felt almost "done," though the work lay ahead. The clarity of a direction felt like a burden lifted and an important question resolved.
23:30 + 24:52 That point was not clear on the GTD book, which is those tasks that require research. Now at least i can think of such items as Projects that need info to reach a decision about. Thanks Chris for your great questions.
Here is how GTD can be made tangible and obvious, like the Airpods : A Productivity Watch. That can Capture, Clarify, Organise, Review and Engage on the go!
Hmm David Allen and Peterson with Chris as a host, now that would be epic ( as both transformed my life for the better and I feel like many things they say intersect). Btw respect for excellent hosting skills, heard you first with Peterson and was amazed on how you handled it, it really feels like you get it, the way you allow your guests to have their space but still asking questions that doesn't just seem like one more variation on the theme ,so you got a sub :)
I think the problem isn't that he laughs way too much but the podcast was uploaded with minimal edits. The editor seems to have skipped a next-action or two there.
Chris, I think you should definitely talk to him again. Now you have a big network after 3 years. More people must know this gentleman.
Chris, you are an articulation machine. May you live long to express what needs to be expressed, well!
I love David Allen in this podcast, Chris beings out a great back and forth between the two!
The good sh*t still sticks - 20 years later....useful and fun conversation...thanks!
Thanks Vicki!
Not many people are wise. David Allen is wise.

Thank you Siddy!

Thank you, that means a lot
Loved this DA podcast - a delight to see he and you having fun, and some awesome value bombs dropped herein - really cool. Thank you! 🙏
33:20 The 5 steps laid out right here!
Loved Chris's big smile on this one.

Underrated
“David is not referring to me” -55:40 lol this host is too funny
David: "If you're getting a divorce, what does 'done' mean?"
Chris: "Divorced."
Classic!
From what I've heard, getting a divorce is more of a 'project' than a 'next action'!
Loving these productivity tips! #RisingToBe #AsWeRise #Riser #KeepRising #ImARiser
Thank you very much for this!!
"Write it on your butt." 😂😂😂
Oh, I love the fun and giggles! And then there's the great advice!

Incredible interview. Incredible interviewer :-)
'Siri' remind me to call David next Friday at 9:00 am = done!
hell yea
Did you ever get a link to that pen? Always on the lookout for good writing tools.
What about Notion?
What's the pen? I want to order!
Great how far a stoner in his one-bedroom apartment can come :-)
Surprising amount of sexual tension in this interview; Not hatin' just statin'.
I just know he was either contemplating divorce or going thru it
Would you really put 'get a divorce' on your someday / maybe list? 😅😅
The interviewer laughs way too much

Huh...I thought it was a very informative, and really enjoyed the rapport between the two. New subscriber!! 😀
