@Dealzu If you keep the factory transmission, you don't have to reprogram anything. But if you're changing both motor and transmission, then you need to do a Transmission Adaptation, and you will need a good Scan Tool in order to do that
@villantiofficial We are located in Medford, Massachusetts. We paid $3000 for the engine, and that was my wife's vehicle, so I didn't charge her for labor, haha. Although I know hourly labor rate for Mercedes is not low.
Yeap! 2018 CLA, GLA, all the same. The harness is also the same, in my case I replaced it because one of the plugs was damaged BUT MAKE SURE the flywheel is the same and the torque converter is not bolted to the flywheel. All the accessories are the same, turbo, compressor, alternators, sensors, water pump. I also recommend getting a new crankcase breather.
Now can I swap a GLA45 AMG engine into my QX30?
Well, I am not certain about that. I believe it could work, but it would definitely require some programming to make it functional
@@meautoaccessories would I need to swap the transmission also?
@ramonherrera9260 It's supposed to be the same transmission, I believe so. But I'd still swap it out. It's definitely more power
Would this work for a 2014 Cla
Yes, it's the same car if I'm not mistaken
Question I just got my motor it's from the same year and model awd am I going to have to reprogram the transmission?

How much did this cost for engine and labor?
Where are you Located?@@meautoaccessories

I am going through this exactly . I was wondering if I could do that on a 2018 cla250. Did you only replace the harness? What about the flywheel.

@meautoaccessories thanks because I was wondering and needed to hear it from you. Those prices for a benz engine to an infiniti is stupid.
