Mini-HCD (student-assignment)

Video of the project that won at the 8th of July 2009:
Vanderlande Industries is specialized in baggage handling systems for airports.
We as a group of 5 students from Fontys Engineering Eindhoven, were asked to develop and create a scale model of the HCD (High Capacity Diverter)
We created a fully working scale model of a baggage sorting system, which can detect object on the conveyor using sensors, a conveyor that transports objects at high speed and a moving arm, with a vertical belt on it, which sorts out the objects on the conveyor.
