Yeah, you're right about the screen yellowing on japanese ds. I was looking at 3ds's(the new version) the other day on ebay, and I saw some had it in the photos.
Another Great Treasure! Yes, the Blue model was a later release. I remember when they announced it, I had the Black one and thought about getting a second in the blue. Elite Beat Agent was the BOMB. I did import a copy of Ouenden after you talked about it on DSR. :D I think its the first game I imported (cant even remember any others). I agree that these are probably the last great, and truly Pocket-able, Gaming systems. I can fit a Switch in my Pocket if I do a little shuffle to get it to slide in, but it sure isn't comfortable. So yes, these are a relic of a better time. Anyway keep making these classic memories. :)
Lol - I just ordered a pink Japanese DSi - I mean just like two days ago. Hope mine arrives quickly as well. You can change it to English through modding which I may do to mine but then again there really isn't much point and I do have a few Japanese games. A couple of the Pokemon games and Elite Beat Agents as well as a Naruto game are in Japanese in my collection and I can use an R4 to run my other games on it. I made the mistake of trading my launch DSi for the DSi XL when it came out so I'm looking forward to getting my pink one. The only other DS model I'm missing from my collection is the 2DS though I do have the 2DS XL.
