- Today I'm sharing a simple recipe for a classic dish--Watergate Salad! Known by many other names as well (like "Pistachio Pudding Fluff"), this dessert salad has a green hue that will be perfect on your St. Patrick's Day table. Enjoy!
WATERGATE SALAD
1- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 pkg instant pistachio pudding mix
1-8 oz. container whipped topping, thawed
2 c. mini marshmallows
Maraschino cherries for garnish
In a large bowl, mix together the drained pineapple, pistachio pudding, thawed whipped topping and mini marshmallows until thoroughly combined. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Garnish with maraschino cherries, if desired. ENJOY!

We make this but don't drain the pineapple. Mix it with the pudding first and then add the cool whip, marshmallows and some chopped walnuts
