DHT blockers do work but make sure your doctor get your labs regularly. Lowering your testosterone too low will harm you in the long run even when your hair it’s thriving.

I threw out 8 hair products that listed DMDM hydantoin in the ingredients. Thanks to you, I now use PURA D’OR Anti-Thinning Biotin Shampoo. It’s on Googles list of shampoos without DMDM HYDANTOIN. 💜

Hey there! So, there's a long answer to this, and I'll put up a video because it’s a little more complex, and I try to keep things surface level. But in short, there are different types of DHT blockers that work differently, and some may have fewer side effects. It’s extremely effective, but I would take it under doctor supervision to monitor your libido, and I would take it in combo with other agents for quicker efficacy. I wouldn’t stay on long-term-grab your results and go. But for the most part, more natural forms like saw palmetto extract and beta-sitosterol could work for you, or topical dutasteride can work and won’t get into the bloodstream. Of course, there is minoxidil and LLLT that have 93 percent efficacy. Hence why I said it’s a long answer, but it’s different for different people. What you want to be aware of is whether the DHT blocker is a DHT antagonist or a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. And again, I will film a video to explain this in detail, but with DHT antagonists, the side effects are less common, but the 5ARIs are more effective, so I would only do these topically so it doesn’t absorb into the bloodstream. I was forced to take blood thinning medication - Xarelto- My hair is thinning badly now. Anyone else experience this???
