The information presented at 14:55 and beyond is the "Easter Egg" in this video. Ive listened to all the instructional videos on this app and just couldn't find detailed enough info on Zero Angle. This answered the question I had on when and how often do you calculate and set this data. Also, the discussion on scope height precision was something I'd always wondered. So much info in the second half of this video you should consider including it in the Revic Ops App instructions video library. Thanks for the great product. And thanks for the tool tips you put in the product.
Just started using with the Revic Ops App and initially thought maybe it was over my head. Then I found the Tool Tips button and was able to educate myself through it. After watching this podcast I'm much more understanding of some of the more complex inputs and why there are needed and why we as shooters should be using them. I still have work to do but I'll get there. I absolutely value Aaron's thought processes and approach to the products Gunwerks are putting out. Looking fwd to future Pod Cast!!
Great Podcast. The concepts of Zero Angle and what Hornady calls "axial form factor" (truing) are huge breakthroughs in understanding. For me at least.
@Gunwerks what drag function do you recommend I use use on your app for my load I’m shooting factory Hornady 212 eld-x 300 PRC, I’ve always been told to use G7 but I see you have a Doppler option just wondering if that’s what I should be using? Thanks for your time.
Assumes too much knowledge on the part of the viewer. I'm a lifelong shooter and consider myself quite knowledgeable on the subject of long range shooting, but found this difficult to follow and therefore uninteresting, as much of it is expressed as shorthand, as in a discussion between two work colleagues who already know each other's thoughts. I wouldn't want it dumbed down, but I would rate this much higher if the speaker took the trouble to express his thoughts more clearly, and at least in complete sentences.
Thanks for the valuable feedback! We are taking this into account and will certainly be sure to put things in context and explain better in future episodes.
Oh please! Take some time and do some research on your own. These concepts are fascinating, cutting edge and easy to understand once you apply some effort. Do your homework instead of whining. Kudos to the Gunwerks guys for this very informative podcast.
It's not a question of research, friend. The problem is one of speaking clearly vs speaking in thought fragments and shorthand. Aaron here was speaking in shorthand. I don't. You can tell a lot about someone by watching how they discuss or explain difficult material to others. Those who really understand a subject can explain anything to anyone.
@@richardofoz2167 He did a marvelous job of explaining the subject matter. If Aaron Davidson is such a poor communicator, how did he lead the effort to build such a successful company and legacy?
Thank you

@@Gunwerks thanks. Glad you didn't take it too hard, or personally.
