I don't bother to put in any weather data on the first trajectory page just all the ballistic data and other preferences , then calculate trajectory , then save it to favorites. Then open the HUD and you can slide the HUD to the right and get the profile page then enter the favorite bullet data you want . On that profile page you can also enter current atmosphere on the fly and go back and adjust it anytime and the new weather data shows up at the bottom of the HUD display . After calculating the trajectory and saving it everything you need is on those two pages , HUD and Profile page to adjust your aim . With a hand load the only variables that you may have trouble finding is the Bullet BC and the muzzle velocity . The BC of a commercial bullet may be in the bullet list . The velocity of a commercial cartridge may be available on there site and the BC may be on the box of projectiles . If you use a hand made custom bullet like I do you will have to model your creation in JBM Point Mass Program and then average the list of BC's . Choose the list BC option at the bottom .
that was great.. i've gotten this app about a year ago and have yet to have an experienced shooter break it down for me. thank you. it would be great if you had a series on utilizing other aspects of this software.. after watching your video. i went back to the website to notice the author finally has some video tutorials.. there.. thanks again. just a suggestion. the video was clear regarding content but it was out of focus. most of the time.. maybe when you have the time you can re-do it.
I'm not getting sound. I have an Apple Powerbook Laptop and for some reason I can't here the demonstrators voice explanation on how to setup the Ballistic AE Application. What's the fix here, guys ? ?
How does this compare to Bryan Litz's program called Applied Ballistics? All G-7 . Litz has personally figured out G-7 BC for a ton of modern bullets. Isn't Litz.s program for Android supposed to be the best now?
+Big Dave this does have ltz G7 DATA in it, but the new litz app has a more updated list of G7's, but all of those are available on his page for free, so you can use any missing data in this app. AE, AB and Shooter are all about = on accuracy, "and the ONLY 3 i would ever recommend on buying" so decide on the "extras" each program offers and the cost. shooter is 10$ AE is 20$ AB is 30$
russr When I complete my settings, I click on ballistic chart and at the very bottom where it reads Bullet drop, Velocity, Energy, just above that I don't see a break down in yards. All I see is 0-200. I'm unable to identify what the the energy (ft lbs) is at a certain yard.

shooter is 10$
AE is 20$
AB is 30$
I have Shooter. I am thinking of getting AB.
Shooting .50 BMG, your Trajectory only goes to 1000 yds. How do I get it to show 2200 yards??
Set max distance for the load
How come I can't view increments at the bottom of the ballistic chart?
Amu Batal not sure what you mean?... on the trajectory page, is where you set the increment you want.

Amu Batal what did u set the you set the increment to on the trajectory page?
I've tried everything from 2, 5 and 10 and still get the same results. Just to be clear under the "output options"
Couldn't take the "ummms" and "ahhhs". Good info, though.
