Amazing how laws can differ from area to area, here in my state we have 0 laws. You can carry whatever you want wherever you want. Both knives are really nice btw, I really like that TBS Boar man that thing is awesome looking. Don't think I have ever seen a folder with a scandi grind so thats a plus for sure! Cool video
I think that tbs is what Mors described as the ideal knife because of the continuous curve from tip to handle. Been rewatching the older episodes of Kuukkeli Bushcraft from "season 1."
Hey there Kuukkeli it is interesting for me to see your legal knifes and your review. Your video was made in a nice setting and I like the birds! I liked your video and subbed your channel so keep them coming!
It’s a stupid law. You are right the lock is a safety feature and there would be less knife injuries in the UK if blades couldn’t fold on your fingers lol. Thanks for sharing this brother enjoyed it. All the best. Rod
I have the same TBS, and it's my only Scandi-grind knife. 6 months on, I can't decide if I like it or not! I think it definitely works better as a mini-bushcrafter than an EDC though. You're right about the stupidity of the UK anti-lock law, although in truth the law itself doesn't mention locking blades. All it says is that to be carried in public (without 'good reason') it must be folding and have a cutting edge no greater than 3 inches. It was some idiot judge who decided that if the blade locked in the open position, it couldn't be called 'folding' any more, and this became Case Law, which means that it may yet be overturned at the next legal challenge - I certainly hope so.
I would certainly like that law to be overturned. The Tbs folder makes a great mini bushcrafter as you put it. I do generally prefer a flat grind though for anything that doesn't involve cutting wood. Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment. All the best Tim
Mine is the K720 version. Been looking at some Joker knives in K720 also good value . I think both are good steels though. Really good little EDC the Boar. Thanks for watching. Have a great weekend.
Sorry just it looks to have a semi choil, might get one and dremal it. So the blade bites the finger straight away? It just looks like it may stay semi open without cutting the hand?
@@clarky4492 you want the blade to bite your finger? So long as your finger is below the choil the choil prevents the blade from closing on your hand. Sorry if I don't entirely understand what you are saying or why you would want the blade to bite your finger.
@@clarky4492 thank god for that. The semi choil will pinch you but it wood have to be very hard for it to hurt. No need to grind anything down with your dremel.
My understanding is you can carry one but you can't buy one. The police can still confiscated a legal knife which is probably more likely to happen if you are younger. You should still be careful where you are carrying your knife. Not in a pub and definitely not in a school or college.
I love the TBS Boar, my all time favourite folder
Totally agree, mine too

Thanks for watching. The TBS Boar is a good folder. Great to have one with a scandi grind expecialy when it is an issue to carry a fixed blade.

The continuous curve is something I tried to do when I made the spudlore. All will be reviled in the next video 🤣. Thanks for watching Chris.

Nice review buddy, channel more and more interesting by the day. Regards Alex
Thank you
If you are holding It and force it closed does it stop semi open without cutting your hand ???
The CRKT will stop semi open but the Tbs boar won't.

That Bird!
There was a blackbird in the background if I remember right. The birds are quieter here.
Thanks for watching mate.
