I am Iranian. I had a Turkish friend back in the 90s at the University of Bergen. Once I played a cassette of Jan for him. He told me that Norwegians don't know Garbarek. I couldn't believe it. A few days later he asked some Norwegians in the students' kafe and yes, they didn't know who he was! So sad!
Winter cold icy winds blowing the stark night of owls vision, the mountains top have snow now, she was a long distant memory that kept fading further away, we had it all, our love was so real, she was all that mattered, how could I ever tell her her, now that she is gone? We danced in each others arms, the night sky, so clear, stars like lasers, her every breath, like a poem, her touch, like a song...it's all so far away now... I'm older, the sky is gettin darker now...
