It's not a village it's the quarry buildings. It use to be a coppermine. My preferred way is to start from the sun inn in conniston have a pre-walk coffee and a post walk beer.
Indi seems like every time I type sank in on RUclips what I’m interested in and boom your on it 👌🏽 from mealworms mountains and van life keep the videos coming mate
Hiya I did this route on Sunday. First Mountain walk. Done a few other fells but not classed as a Mountain. A tiny panic with nerves when getting to the hands on bit. But so glad I did it. Then went to the Trig Point of Brim Fell just across the ridge. That sea view is Morecambe Bay. Hoping to do Snowden next might try the Ranger Path as the tourist one looks rammed all the time.
That is cool as hell walking up onto that old abandoned village. Beautiful views!!
