I gave up on relying only on electronic documents, too many times immigration agents asked for paper copy or wouldn’t accept a print screen or pdf or email proof. Not to mention the fact that the govt websites are either down or internet isn’t working at the airport 😡. I highly recommend to print copies and keep them in a plastic pouch to avoid the hassle!

Agree! Years ago my phone crashed right as I was going to scan the boarding pass. I had to do a reset and take the battery out. Thank goodness it came back. Since then I always have the paper copy. And backups of anything I really need on the flight, like 2 earphones, 2 power packs, etc.

I was in the Miami airport coming home from a cruise and my return ticket decided not to load so I had to hustle over to the airline kiosk which was trying to sell me a credit card which I already had I get to print out my boarding pass with the TSA all kinds of fools they’re not paying attention to TSA not having their boarding pass and ID ready I pantomimed the women in front of me that did not speak English to get their stuff ready

Great tips! I'd like to visit London next. I chose to avoid summer travel because it's just too crazy for me, but these tips will always be useful! I think international travel can be a breeze if you plan ahead well, especially in this day and age. I can usually do everything from my phone, from check-in to landing, but I like to keep paper copies of everything too just in case. I noticed airport staff will often get you through quicker, if you show physical copies of everything. However, I traveled with my mom a few months ago, and she was amazed at how efficient I can be with the phone so she starts telling everyone how amazing it is 😂 Anyway at least the US is not requiring the negative c*vid tests for entry anymore, so maybe travel is a little easier now, but I'm not sure about most other countries/airlines. Overall, nip the "airport stuff" in the bud; print and prepare a week in advance, ideally!

The travel agent acted as a person recommending us and it took about 14 days for that to be processed. NOTE: Many apply, very few are accepted. Even when it is accepted and issued, you need to review it carefully for mistakes

Please consider doing a video on airline code-sharing flights.
I’m heading to Italy in 3 weeks. Flight was booked by my children round trip with Delta.
In looking at my schedule I change carriers at JFK to an airline called ITA Airways (a bit of research shows this is the old defunct Airtalia.)
The only thing I got out of my 10 calls to Delta and ITA and total 10 hours of hold time, is the following:
    1. It’s a codeshare flight, meaning travel rules regarding baggage, seating is what the rules are for the booking airline. I’m not sure about that when I contacted both airlines I got 5 different answers.
My outbound flight to JFK is Delta and my seat is selected. From NY to Rome, then on to Palermo is on ITA and one person said to go to their website to check in & select my seat 48 hours before departure. Delta says I can’t check in until 24 hrs before the flight. So do I check in with ITA 48 hrs for the ITA to Rome flight? And then again 24 hrs later with Delta? Also, I was told by one ITA representative that Delta would give me my seat selection when I check in on day of departure. But then everyone else on the flight would have selected their seats 24 hours on ITA site before my Delta check in.
Sounds like I’m sitting on the wing eating bread and H2O…😭
    2. ITA flight is tagged as Economy Classic
But, they only show economy on their website which says no seat selection by customer only by ITA day of the flight and that economy doesn’t allow carry on, only under seat personal bag.
So I’m majorly confused and traveling internationally alone.
I guess I’ll learn a lot which will help for future international flights.
I hope you can do this video for other people who may be in the same pickle jar as me.
Sorry this is so long but, I am SO glad I found your channel!! Your tips and advice have been very helpful. Short and to the point. Which this comment is not. 😆

I'm sure you will get meals for the international flight, it's not my favourite airline but meals were always provided by Alitalia back in the day, it's not a case of bread & water if you check in on the day at the airport.
Maybe just check in a modest -sized suitcase and bring a tote bag of the correct dimensions to fit under the seat in front of you on any and all airlines, aiming to check your suitcase all the way through to your final destination. That takes the pressure off trying to squeeze toiletries and other liquids into a cabin allowance.
Hope you have/had a wonderful holiday in Italy!

Interesting to see what people can be trained to tolerate. There was a time when all you needed to board (or even pilot) a plane was a warm body...
