You can also see that every cast member is wearing a mask and face shields to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all its park guests. We felt really safe when we visited Walt Disney World both times in August and December 2020.

This definitely looks like the ride you go on in the middle of the day when you’re tired and your feet need a break

I'm so impressed by the feeling of depth. It really feels like there is a dark sky above, when we know there really is a ceiling. Beautiful!
That animatronic freaked me out holy cow...so realistic
This is the only animatronic that I could legitimately see people mistaking for an actual person. All the others, like those in the Star Wars area, just don't move like real people. They're "too" fluid and very easy to tell aren't real people.

I love anything Avatar, and Disney blew it out of the water with the Flight of Avatar. I enjoyed this too.... and the whole Avatar area of the park was amazing. Though definitely not as exciting, this did give me the feeling of being inside the movie.
I like that this ride is deliberately uneventful. I think Disney needs more rides like this in-between the high energy stuff.

This left much to be desired. No scenes or areas depicting any of the main characters or conflicts, and no drops or change in motion. They should have modeled this ride on POTC in Shanghai Disney Resort
They used most of the budget on the animatronic and ran out of money.
I think if they had put some key scenery in there like floating under the Tree of Souls, it'd be a lot more interesting.
Seems like a great ride to fall asleep in.
That effect had the movie on me as well. It sucked.

I feel like this ride is decent but it needs a drop or at least a story. During the ride you mainly just see plants, not much of a story being told. Like pirates of the Caribbean, it needs a drop that riders can look forward too, that would make it much more exciting in my opinion.
Why can’t you people just appreciate the beauty and art of the ride? That’s what it was for. Wasn’t meant to be a scary fast exciting ride.

Eh, Pandora already has one ride that's more of a thrill ride (Flight of Passage) so I guess it makes sense that the other ride there is just a standard slow/relaxing boat ride.

I just got back from Disney and if you really look on this ride there are bugs crawling all over the roof but not like the actual bugs like Navi bug shadows
I dont know why but I get so angry every time people step on the seats when they get onto rides lol

I love this ride, I'd live inside it. Y'all all can enjoy flight of passage and I will ride this one over and over with out crippling mortal terror.

@@tango5074 I did go on it, but I have sensory issues so I know that it's a me problem not a ride problem. It was just loud and the movement was disorienting and my body doesn't know how to discern practical from simulated, so even though my brain knew I wasn't doing a loop de loop on a banshee's back my body couldn't figure that out and thought I was gonna die. 😂 Logically I know it's awesome ride but I just can't enjoy it. So I'll just curl up in the arms of the Navi shaman instead 😆

This is a beautiful video, but I get the feeling that this is the type of ride where watching it on a screen can’t quite capture the feeling of being on the actual ride. I will get there to ride it some day!
it’s cool but very disappointing. i waited like an hour and a half for it and it’s really not worth it unless the line is short

True. I was there in November....it gr jammed so we where there at the end...it was beautiful. We had pass so I'm glad we didn't have to wait 2 hrs to do it. But it was very nice.

This looks like one of the most relaxing rides ever. All those pale shades of blue, green, and purple, the twinkle-lights, the soft and gentle music...(sigh)

Do you ever feel dizzy on the other ride?
@@LindaLuxable Personally no. I never get dizzy on rides. My dad went on Flight of Passage (he has bad motion sickness) and he was able to enjoy it thoroughly without feeling sick or dizzy. The ride doesn't really make you feel dizzy because you aren't moving too much, it's the screen. :)
My family and I just visited Disney world and we finally went on both avatar rides, absolutely beautiful!
The most exciting and intense part of the ride was at the very end before getting off, when the ride started to pick up a little speed lol 😂
It's disappointing how this attraction turned out. From what I've heard, because the rest of Pandora went so overbudget, this attraction was only really allowed to be the bare minimum of its original concept, whatever that was supposed to be. I definitely would have liked to see what a true Navi River Journey would have been. I don't dislike this one, but it's not something that's worth more than a 20 minute wait.

I like this ride but I've always thought, there are too many screen and it's way too empty in some places, it's like they spent all the money for the, granted, excellent animatronic at the end.

Disney played themselves with this ride. How are you gonna open this boat ride and then have something as mind blowing as Flight of Passage? This should've been the boat ride that takes you to FOP to get you ready for that ride lol
It feels like it should be building to something other than just the end of it. I agree with you, it would have been better as a delivery system of sorts instead of just the ride people go on to sit down....

Just watched the movie last night!!! I've been on this ride and its good, but no where near as good as Flight of Passage!!!

I just wanna live inside this ride, just stay there, and fuse with the bioluminescent trees and music and never have to return to the real world ever again.
The beginning and the end are just for increasing the riding time. The ride is really plain. It just trees and plants. There's no extra things to see.

Definitely seems like a zen ride to calm yourself down on . It also looks like you can’t get wet on that ride as well .

I’m excited to go on this ride. My mom is too. They were just building Avatarland when we went to Disney World, for my birthday in November of 2019.
My mom wants to go on this one, and Flights of Passage. I don’t know what my significant other Dan will think of the rides. But, I hope he will like them too.
The music is so beautiful. Disney did a great job! Dan, my mom, and I will be at Disney World in April.
I mean...it's a beautiful ride with one hella impressive animatronic, but the ride is just boring, even being their in person I can tell. I mean, I get its meant to escape the heat for a bit or take a break from looking at animals, but people want more thrills. If they wanted to repurpose this, I think adding in one or two drops would help, add more animatronics in certain places then screens and maybe have it where the guests can interact a bit by changing parts of the environment so it's not just a boat ride. That or turn it into a ride/restaurant where you sit and eat and watch.
A restaurant sounds like a great idea. I wonder what the food would be like.

This is new since our last visit to DW. And after watching this video, I must thank you in advance for saving us at least an hour on our next trip.

No plot. Really short. The only redeeming factor, the animatronic at the end.
It pains me when I see people waiting more than 15 mins for this. Last time I went it had a 90 min wait.

I dont know if its the kid in me, but this ride desperately needs a small flume or something. Could have the end plummet down a waterfall into beauty. Pirates has one, malestrom aka frozen has one. I mean it really makes those rides great in my opinion. Just something to mix up the floating. Again just my opinion, ride looks beautiful. Just give me a little thrill. Thanks Disney :)

This is a good ride for people who can't handle a lot of motion, drops, speed, etc. They could have at least added more of a story though.

i remember there being an avatar animatronic at the very beginning of the ride as well the last time i went that i, for the life of me, do NOT remember from the first, and only other, time i went on the ride back in 2017.

waited 2.5 hours for this ride and have never been so disappointed by Disney...it’s a nice ride but definitely worth more than a 15 min wait...
Idk why it’s getting hate. Once the hype dies down and the line for this is shorter, I feel like it’ll be closer to the haunted mansion or people mover. A nice, pretty ride with AC that you go on in the middle of day when you’re tired.

This would have worked as a walk through attraction in and out in 3-4 mins. The boat aspect just is just not needed.
Or maybe used as the queue for passage ride. Go through this then into the indoor section of the lab. They are in the same building after all.

People walking on the seats then everyone sits on them, by the end of the day, your pants will have everything in Disney.

How come Disneyworlds water rides don't have floom drops like Disneyland pirate's of the Caribbean?only splash mountain has them ....
But imagine Navi boat ride having a unexpected drop or Frozen the ride? Is it because Florida doesn't have a underground like Disneyland? Really disappointingly dull .....

it's a great ride, but there was one thing missing from Pandora at Disney World that I couldnt put my finger on at first. But then I realized, where are all the Na'vi? lol There are none in the Pandora land, and even on this ride, it's just Neytiri's mom. So, I only saw 1 Na'vi at my time at Disney World. lol
It needs 5-10 more minutes, and good drop or some added action!
