i know the programm well,but if i have a clip that is 6 hours..how can i convert it into 3 minutes ? If i use velocityt and the rate at x4...its still like 50 minutes..any tips pal ?

tech tuna i can't,it only goes up to x4 ..
The solutions i found are either render it and then convert it again to a slower time whitch is not ideal because 50 minutes of video will take for ever to render..
Or 2) use after effects cc whitch you can set how many times you want to speed the video.

You can either speed it up in the project file itself or you can render it and load it in your project (not recomended)

Check that your render parameter triangles, on your timeline are to the start and end of the clip otherwise you might have black footage left over at the end

Erm, I would guess, you speed it up by 4, render the video, then put the rendered video in a new timeline, then repeat the procedure, until its as fast as you want it to be

i found a new method ^^ Just use a nested project. Make the event that you've sped up it's own project and drop it into another project and speed it up again. Repeat until you have reached your desired speed.
