  • Hello again!
I had these cheap Philips headphones reliably for a long time, but i started using more portable computers and stuff and started using earplugs instead, so i gifted these to a friend.
But, he has a tendency to break headphones very often!
These took him 2 weeks to achieve maddening left ear mono!
So i helped him reduce cost of listening to stuff and fix and upgrade these headphones so that the cable can unplug itself when pulled accidentally, and be cheaply replaced when damaged!
Socket would simply screw on in the hole left after removing the cable but i messed up the thread and had to use hot glue to hold it in place.
I simply soldered 3 wired to corresponding terminals on the speaker after de-soldering broken cable.
I hope you enjoyed watching my video, and if you did, like and subscribe.
If you did not, please let me know why so i can improve and do better next time!
Also, feel free to tell me what you would like to see next.
