Disney's "Snow Bear" Part 2 Season 17 Ep 7

From Season 17 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 7: Snow Bear, Part 2 which originally aired on November 1st, 1970. After a hunter's trap separates Paka, a female polar bear cub, from her mother, the frightened animal is befriended by Timko, a teenage Eskimo boy. Timko plans to raise the bear and eventually trade her to a zoo for much needed supplies. The plan fails when Paka breaks out of her shed and destroys the village's meager stockpile of food, forcing the tribal elders to banish the bear from the village. Starring Steve Kaleak as Timko, Rossman Peetook as Akotak, Laura Itta as Oogal, Dan Truesdell as Jim Johnson, Noah Philips as Ramaluk and Paka the Queen of the Snow Bears.
