Life sure is interesting, isn't it? Forty eight years ago, the four of us who have commented on this video so far (or mom of one) shared the same childhood experience of watching this on TV and being really impressed by it, not knowing that 48 years later some mind-boggling thing called the Internet would have us cross paths here because of that experience. Like the rest of you, I had unsuccessfully looked for this for a long time and am so grateful to the poster for allowing us to reconnect to our shared fond childhood memory. I was 11 when I watched this with my mom. Until watching this again here, I had forgotten most of the details of the story, but the thing that I vividly remembered was being so enamored with "Lolly" and acting so goofy out of embarrassment because I thought for sure that my mom (RIP) could surely somehow realize how smitten I was with the girl. Remember, this was back in the day when TV was 1,000% more wholesome and kids weren't so "grown". It's interesting now to learn her name, Susie Silook, and see what an accomplished artist she became. Snow Eskimo Jo, thanks for teaching me the Inuit word for "thank you", and with that I'd just like to second you in saying a BIG "Quyanainni" to AlsoTV for posting this!

Thank you so much for adding this! I have been looking for this movie forever --- everything online has been a dead-end until now. I saw this only once as a child on the Wonderful World of Disney and it made an indelible impression on me, by far the most significant movie to my life (which is saying a lot). I can't thank you enough for letting me see it again.

Ahhh...1974...when Disney was still sane and not woke lefty's...when movies were normal and when normal meant safe with Godly "family values"....thank God I was around back then and thank God I am old now!

OMG!!!! THANK YOU! I literally have been searching for this online for years! You have no idea. I've even ran into many dead-ends which apepared to be videos only to find they were not, so naturally when I saw this after another search this evening, I was highly skeptical! The internet saves the day again.
My parents had this recorded on VHS and as a kid I watched it over and over! When Disney+ came online, it was one of the first items I looked for, but despite them having virtually everything, they did not have anything from WWoD. I wonder if it has to do with ABC Network? Anyways, for real, thank you so much. I am watching this tonight.

This is a great children's adventure film, which features a co-production by James Algar with Disney Studios. Lots of adventure, action and suspenseful scenes. It's worth watching. (Joseph - Brazil)

I don’t understand why more people haven’t watch this?!!? This is a wonderful movie, people/bothers & sisters!! About our fellow brothers & sisters, the Eskimos, in the arctic north & tundra!!!! I live in Alaska with my family for 16 yrs., though I/we never were in the tundra!!! Excellent movie & thanks to all that helped make this & bring this to us!!! Sad but happy also!! ❤😢😊

I live in the warmer equivalent of the tundra the California Mojave desert only seems just too hot in the summers . Being 200 miles east of LA. Actually less good survival resources than the tundra uncannily .

Bummer don't have walruses to hunt today in southern CA ! So have to do without hides and ivory for our harpoons and utensils and meat . But today can afford to leave the fat blubbery creatures be and they can live on .
