Thanks so much for this! I've had PS6 for a while but I've been bumbling around making my own stuff up, so it's great to find someone's taken the time to show my how it should be done!
Your videos are so helpful for me I still use Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended [hate the online pay service] I'm glade you take the time to make these videos. I can't thank you enough!
Great tip Glyn. Here I was planning a shoot with a horse and rider coming out of the dark and smoke - being a bit concerned how the horse would react to the hole deal. And presto! Mr brush retoucher him self to the rescue. I can't thank you enough. Drinks on me mate. Love all From Phillip. PS! Did she get her Land Rover yet ?
Hi Glyn - great tutorials. A quick question please, I click to select my special effect brushes then ask to load brushes and select Xplosion and use the brush with no problem, until I go to use the brush again another day and the brushes haven't saved to the folder and I have to 'load brushes' again?
very good vid ! gonna help me allot. im just starting out with photoshop and have a question. what if your background isnt black/white? what settings do the foreground/background color have to be? just close to what the main 2 colors of your background is?? thx
TheGazzadj you have to save the brush with the settings you want then copy the saved brush into presets brush folder on C Windows,Mac i dont know where! Then load the saved brush in Photoshop. You will now have 2 brushes, the original one and yours.Save it with another name.Nice tutorials by the way, got you a sub :-)
Nope..the xplosion brushes from Brusheezy are completely free so I have no idea what you're looking at. just downloaded them again myself and still free.
Strange. Try just typing in 'xplosion brushes' into Google. That will then show you a link to Brusheezy. Click on that and you'll see an example (looks like fire) on the page and next to it the link to download for free.

Hi - do you have any videos on colouring the smoke please
Hi There. I don't but if you add a HUe / Saturation Layer above and a clipping mask that will enable you to do that.
You just rock so much thank you super
is there a way to change the color in the first method?
