Bread lasts longer in the fridge and freezer. We live in a somewhat hot and humid country not like England where it's sometimes warmer to keep things in the fridge.
The owner came quicker because you messed something big up. It's called the organized thief, the more you mess up the house, the quicker he comes home. You cut the power, which was a big thing you messed up, so he came home very quickly.
Wouldn't he have a sentry gun protecting it though? and why would he have a fridge if he could just make a dispenser he is a troll Engineer if you ask me haha
Out of all of the things Simon freaks out about is that the owner of the house keeps her bread in the fridge. Simon: -opens fridge- WHO KEEPS BREAD IN THE FRIDGE?!
As several other people have stated you can keep bread in the freezer to keep it fresh longer. This is handy when you only need say, one or two hot dog or hamburger rolls and they come in packs of 8 or 10. Also, in certain places, you keep everything edible in the fridge because the vermin are nearly impossible to get rid of...
Nobody seams to realise.. They're in Britain where it is cold.. In colder places things will not go off as fast as they would as in say 'Australia' (Where I live) so they would not put their bread in the fridge because it doesn't go off as fast in colder areas :3
Was I the only one like shitting myself, looking through the comments to see if there was a screamer or something, or like slowly moving my mouse along the thing to see if something like slenderman pops up?
I actually have landmines surrounding my property, except the driveway which has a motion-sensitive turret that i keep stocked with ammunition and repair regularly.
Hey Yogscast i was just wondering if you guys could all get together, like you did for the gary's mod race, and play Rust all together and have some fun with that?
***** you should either keep it air-tight and dry somewhere and eat it within a week or so, or freeze it to preserve it for weeks, and slowly defrost it when you need it (or put it in the oven, but not too long) That will keep it the freshest.
aboodii idk Is that suppose to be an excuse?Because im sure you were serious with your 6 years old spellings and stuff. Can you actually spell or are you actually one of those kids making excuses when they were wrong?
Can't believe this day has come... R.I.P Simon of the Yogscast. You gave me so many funny moments. I can't thank you enough for brightening up my day on countless occasions. You will be a Yognaut forever in our hearts
Keeping bread in the fridge means it will last twice as long; plus it doesn't fucking freeze, it just gets cold. But you fix that anyway by toasting it, so why NOT keep it in the fridge. Of course if you're sharing a household with someone, you don't put bread in the fridge because you generally eat it quick or don't mind throwing a slice or two away. As someone by themselves or maybe a student or whatnot, you kinda'wanna'keep food fresh as long as possible, as such bread in fridge(*not in the fkin freezer) is the way to go.
Although as a student I used to keep my bread in the fridge, it's actually detrimental to the breads lifespan.Yes, things do last longer when they're kept cold, but the extra life bought by fridge occupation is massively offset by the high amounts of moisture. Essentially, your bread will last the same amount of time it will last in a bread bin, it will just be soggier... Hope this comment helps 10 months later! :D
Alarms usually have a back-up battery and a dedicated phone wire. If the power fails, the alarm automatically calls certain numbers (security company, police, your cellphone etc.).
Bread in the freezer (not fridge) keeps your bread from drying out. It only takes a couple of minutes to unfreeze... good solution if you buy a lot of bread at once.
It is not misspelled. The 's' is the original way to spell organised. The Americans changed their way of spelling words, replacing s with a z because they wanted to disband from British rule. Changing certain spelling on words was their way to show their independence.
I, for one, have tripwires that launch landmines at your face, and their explosion then sets off a swinging log. When the log inevitably hits the wall, it hits a button which causes the floor to collapse, and at the bottom of the resulting hole is a spike pit filled with lava. It's a very effective system.
Maybe if somebody is keeping gold bars in a safe in their house they would be willing to set up an alarm with its own individual power supply ready to trigger when the other power lines are cut.
Found this game yesterday on Reddit. Played it for a bit. After a while I decided to jam up the doors with cushions and other crap. The guy couldn't get in. I stole everything and left. :P
My family puts bread in the fridge as we don't go through it fast and partly because I can't reach the cabinets (curse being 18 and still 4'10"). We usually also have a loaf in the freezer. I totally thought most people put it in the fridge xD I didn't even know that some people even have a "bread box". It's such an amusing concept to me.
The freezer thing makes sense, as most people put bread or rollls in the freezer and then defrost it for use xD But putting bread in the fridge tends to make go stale quicker (in my experience) so you get less nice sandwiches...then again I rarely buy bread so I just stick it in the cupboard and eat it fast.
We keep the bread in the fridge actually, because it dramatically increases the lifetime. There's no reason not to keep it in the fridge either, unless you like throwing away food every other day.
MysteriousStranger50 It doesn't go stale faster in the fridge, it stays good longer. And not mouldy after 2 days. And you don't notice it's been in the fridge when you make a sandwich, after all, the butter and cheese also come out the fridge.
***** Be person, don't normaly finish a whole bread before it gets badish, pick bread, cut in machine, pay, put in freezer, remove a few slices every now and then, let thaw, have ok bread forever.
I just only buy loaf or two at a time so that it won't go stale before I get through it. I'd rather buy the bread more often than eat it out of the fridge, personally, haha.
Ahh! Thank you for playing our game, Yogscast! XD
Bread lasts longer in the fridge and freezer. We live in a somewhat hot and humid country not like England where it's sometimes warmer to keep things in the fridge.
The old intro music, I never thought I'd hear it again.
Yeah
Yeah
Anyone else just randomly get a craving of a specific old yogscast video? Yeah. It’s this video for me today.
The owner came quicker because you messed something big up. It's called the organized thief, the more you mess up the house, the quicker he comes home. You cut the power, which was a big thing you messed up, so he came home very quickly.
if you move stuff around unlike its original position, when the owner sees it, he will look for you , otherwise he will act normally or go to sleep
Did anyone else get scared when they heard the car pull up, or am i just a pussy?
No I did as well!!
Great, now ill never be a good house robber
Crazy-Fangirl101 you again...hai!
Ahhhhh! We meet again!! :)
Crazy-Fangirl101 hehehehe
For everyone who puts bread in the fridge, don't ever again, it goes stale much faster then if you keep it in a cupboard
Simon alarms (like the red beep when you cut the wires) can be sent to phones -_- or someone can call you like Lewis suggested.
Maybe he's like an Engineer and just suddenly knows when someone's in his house.
"BURGLAR SAPPIN' MY FUSES"
Wouldn't he have a sentry gun protecting it though? and why would he have a fridge if he could just make a dispenser he is a troll Engineer if you ask me haha
Lol
"ERECTIN' A SET OF CAR KEYS"
Shouldn't he also be a spy? he seems to be able to sneak up on the burglar quietly. And didn't get surprised when he found the burglar
I keep a loaf in the freezer, keeps it from going off. Just defrost it before you eat it and it tastes the same
This game is scarier than Slender
lel lel lol lol
anything is
Happy birthday Simon march 14 2020
Out of all of the things Simon freaks out about is that the owner of the house keeps her bread in the fridge.
Simon: -opens fridge- WHO KEEPS BREAD IN THE FRIDGE?!
the more stuff you knock over and make noises he comes home earlier, if you don't come home, he comes home way after you have stolen everything
I can't get over how lewis looks like he's 13 without his glasses. I just can't unsee it.
Eh, I'd say 17, maybe.
As in, "he looks so young", or "he looks young ;/"?
My grandma actually puts bread in the fridge...isn't it supposed to keep your bread from going bad faster?
In games like these, one really has to pay attention.
Simon and Lewis aren't really the masters of doing so...
I love the amount of whispering that started the moment the person came home. Immersion!
Rest In Peace Simon
Funny thing about freezing bread is while it does keep it from molding, it also makes it go stale a helluva lot faster too.
RIP Simon, we will never forget your legacy
He isn't dead -_-
"Who the hell keeps bread in the fridge"
I keep my bread in the fridge and freezer.
Is Lewis competing with Sips for Greyist Bastard 2014?
Can you make lewis play it?
You accidentally a word.
MattShea you accidentally a word.
MattShea you accidentally a word.
This is the sort of stuff we're making in my Game Development class.
I hope I end up making something that the Yogscast will play in the future.
2:50 is it normal to keep a fucking TREE right next to the toilet?
Oh my gosh the old intro music im gonna cry :')
Love it when Simon and Lewis play indie games!

As long as there is little humidity, of course.
6:47 Simon knew it would be like slender
RIP
This theif is useless, he plans a robbery, where the owner is just popping down the corner shop for a loaf of bread.
Was I the only one like shitting myself, looking through the comments to see if there was a screamer or something, or like slowly moving my mouse along the thing to see if something like slenderman pops up?
I did the exact same thing...
Of COURSE!
I did that 2!!
Lewis's face at 11:52
OH MY FUCKING GOD THAT IS HILARIOUS
*beep beep*
"ur being robd lol"
Am I the only one terrified by the this game and the whole thought of the owner coming back and catching you when you don't expect it?
I actually have landmines surrounding my property, except the driveway which has a motion-sensitive turret that i keep stocked with ammunition and repair regularly.
I think that is very unusual and plus what about the impact on the landmine
Ario Rosadi WELL THAT JOKE JUST FLEW OVER YOUR HEAD.
Tom Turtleson That sarcasm went right over your head...
For a game about being an organised thief, Simon certainly isn't very organised.
R.I.P.
Hey Yogscast i was just wondering if you guys could all get together, like you did for the gary's mod race, and play Rust all together and have some fun with that?
Rust is a shitty DayZ rip off.
Chipwreck I like both tbh dayz has better fighting but rust has better house building and survival.
Chipwreck Except for the fact that you can build things and theres no zombies.. Gj
REST IN PEACE

You fucking disgust me.
that IS SMART
***** you should either keep it air-tight and dry somewhere and eat it within a week or so, or freeze it to preserve it for weeks, and slowly defrost it when you need it (or put it in the oven, but not too long)
That will keep it the freshest.

Omega Rainbow lol XDDD
0:26 I love it how Simon uses WASD for a job... like... every day... but he still had to look down at the keyboard to find the letter Q.
THIS WAS SOOO SCARY AND SIMON WAS JUST LIKE MEHH!
Can't believe this day has come... R.I.P Simon of the Yogscast. You gave me so many funny moments. I can't thank you enough for brightening up my day on countless occasions. You will be a Yognaut forever in our hearts
***** I know :'( It's horrible. Rumors are it was a drug overdose :'( Can't believe he fell so low.
RIP Simon :[
Missed forever :'( ;_;
I keep bread in the fridge...
RIP in piece

Oliver Little, Lifespan? lmao
"WHO THE HELL KEEPS BREAD IN THE FRIDGE?"
And this is why I love you, Simon.
The old intro music is back!
Alarms usually have a back-up battery and a dedicated phone wire. If the power fails, the alarm automatically calls certain numbers (security company, police, your cellphone etc.).
To: You
From: Your Security Company
Message: You're being robbed, lol :D
Guys, I asked one of the Voxel Box guys to send this to the Yogscast, and I think he did. Thanks dude!
The only proberlam with yogscast is they do amazing non related minecraft games but will never record it more than once
Storing bread in the fridge is actually bad, cause the temperature is dehydrating the bread six times faster than when it's at room temperature.
This could very easily pass as a horror game ;o;
Dane Tabor ikr!
TBgamer3000 INTENSE
This is why Lewis and Simon are the greatest
In the shower: A scary Clown.
creepy clown =3
DUN DUN DUUUUN *Screams*
***** while you're driving.. *a creepy clown!* under the mattress... *a creepy clown!*
or mold on the curtain
5:10 Simon's face. Bless him, little bugger
i keep bread in the freezer to keep it fresh
I buy eight bread and freeze down seven of them so I don't have to go to the store and buy more so often. It's brilliant!
omg why is this game so scary for me? is it for anyone else?
Bread in the freezer (not fridge) keeps your bread from drying out. It only takes a couple of minutes to unfreeze... good solution if you buy a lot of bread at once.
I put my bread in the fridge
I put my fridge in the bread.
SpartanHamster my bread in the put i fridge.
"I'm a bit worried that it would be like slender"- Simon is reading my mind!
You set off the alarm when you cut the red wire, so he came home quicker
RIP Simon you will always be in our hearts
It is not misspelled. The 's' is the original way to spell organised. The Americans changed their way of spelling words, replacing s with a z because they wanted to disband from British rule. Changing certain spelling on words was their way to show their independence.
***** Hehe nice, wonder if they actually thought of that one.
And once again, Simon doesn't comprehend the word "hold"
goodnight, sweet prince. RIP simon, thanks for all the laughs.
I don't eat a lot of bread so in the summer I keep it in the fridge so it doesn't get ruined too quick.
Umm I keep bread in the fridge so it don't get rotten
whoa. That intro really brought back some memories...
Doesn't everybody have trip wires in their house?
And land mines?
Yeah!
I, for one, have tripwires that launch landmines at your face, and their explosion then sets off a swinging log. When the log inevitably hits the wall, it hits a button which causes the floor to collapse, and at the bottom of the resulting hole is a spike pit filled with lava.
It's a very effective system.
You have a spike pit filled with lava?
...
Did that cost extra or something?
Not as much so as you would think.
Yogscast are so bootiful.
Why would disconnecting the power turn on the alarm? Maybe because that's what thieves do to disable alarms?
Maybe if somebody is keeping gold bars in a safe in their house they would be willing to set up an alarm with its own individual power supply ready to trigger when the other power lines are cut.
im pretty sure its only the red wire that sets off the alarm, i think that its a decoy to stop robbers who just cut all the wires
Keep doing indie games, i love these
Bristol BS1 6EA i have been doing alot of research and i found his adress yes its the postcode of yogtowers people check it out omg
Simon you tripped the alarm and it sent a message to his/her phone.
Love this style of videos just playing random indie games! keep it up!
LMAO at 6:02 , look at lewiss face
omggg
We keep bread in the fridge. It helps during the summer if we don't eat it fast enough, otherwise it'd get moldy and we'd have to throw it out.
Dont watch this at night
I did
I keep my bread in the fridge. I thought everyone did.
I keep bread in fridge. It last longer.
But it makes it dry.
No.
Julien Valiquette not in the fridge in the freezer! that stops the rotting-thing
it makes it go stale faster actually, Increases the crystallization of the bread particles :)
No, actually bread gets stale faster in the fridge.
I know this thats the game that i saw on Markplier's chanel
I KEEP THINKING HE HAS A GUN CUZ OF THE CROSSHAIR
Found this game yesterday on Reddit. Played it for a bit. After a while I decided to jam up the doors with cushions and other crap. The guy couldn't get in. I stole everything and left. :P
My family keeps bread in the fridge. We don't eat bread often so if we left it out it would mold.

Jesus! I was having this very same argument about bread in the fridge with my 4 year old half-brother! The gods have sent me a message!
Burglar alarms do go off when the power is cut, our street is full of the bastards when there's a power cut.
We keep the bread in the fridge actually, because it dramatically increases the lifetime. There's no reason not to keep it in the fridge either, unless you like throwing away food every other day.
put it in the freezer is better
We keep bread in the freezer too, but we don't eat that until it's defrosted.
Makes it go stale faster... thats why it says "Store in a cool, dry place"
Mold is one thing, stale bread is another.
Also, who wants a cold sandwich?
MysteriousStranger50 It doesn't go stale faster in the fridge, it stays good longer. And not mouldy after 2 days. And you don't notice it's been in the fridge when you make a sandwich, after all, the butter and cheese also come out the fridge.
I actually know a lot of people that keep bread in the freezer/fridge... I however am not a fan of doing so.
***** LOL in my house we freeze bread often because it lasts longer that way :) less waste, but it def tastes better when left out
***** Be person, don't normaly finish a whole bread before it gets badish, pick bread, cut in machine, pay, put in freezer, remove a few slices every now and then, let thaw, have ok bread forever.
