    Very impressive, and moreover very clear. The outside corner on the box cannot possibly look better; I'm definitely going to adopt your method.

    You should 45 all the ends of the bead, so you have a nice sharp crisp point

    This guy works like me, set up in the corner, corner bead in-hand, cutters, camera. Let’s move somewhere else. Drops knife, drops corner bead, headphones in the way. End result however, beautiful.

    If I have an archway. Rounded door entrance. And I want to square it. What’s best tool to cut into the metal arched shaped corner bead? Sawzall ?

    • @THEDRYWALLDOCTOR1
      @THEDRYWALLDOCTOR1  Месяц назад +1

      Sometimes it's easier to remove the bead with a claw hammer 🔨. But a Sawzall cut everything.

      Any particular type of blade you recommend on the Sawzall?

      @THEDRYWALLDOCTOR1  Месяц назад +1

      @johnc1280 I always use any all purpose blade so I can cut through anything.

    Great video and It will make a nice sharp angle as you said but this will never make your corners "square". I came here to see how you square the corner and got dissappointed :) thanks anyway.

    • @THEDRYWALLDOCTOR1
      @THEDRYWALLDOCTOR1  Год назад

      Corner bead shouldn't be squaring your corners. The carpenter should. Corner bead will just follow the angles.

    Paper faced bead is such (expensive) garbage. TrimTex or metal only.

    • @waz1167
      @waz1167 6 лет назад

      I would have to say its pretty cheap compared to Trim Tex. Trim Tex would be ranked #1 for quality of product but paper faced would be ranked 2nd. Metal is the quickest to install.
